I like to support smaller owned businesses and usually their food is better than any chain. The food was decent the cheese sticks were kinda burnt. The lower rating however is because I ordered online through a link on their Google information for a company called slice. Got an email that said uncle's accepted my order and it would be delivered. My bank account was charged. Gets delivered we ask for the recipet to sign. They were completely unaware I had paid. I say the amount am told it's different (obviously I added a tip). Show him my online banking statement showing their name on it. He has to call restaurant. No one seems to know what's going on. Were staying at a hotel I just wanted to eat so I could move on and enjoy the hot springs with my family.. awkward standing there with the guy at the door while he's waiting on a call back. He calls back probably awkward for him too. Gets told it's good and been paid. My suggestion better communication. Would still order here over say pizzahut but would definitely try other places first as the pizza wasnt great and the awkward standing at the door like I'm some mooch trying to get free pizzas when I obviously paid and showed...
Read moreThey actually got my order wrong, but they made up for it commendably! I ordered from here because Uncle Pizza is advertised on my room key at the Caravan Inn. I didn't have a menu when I called, so I asked the employee on the phone what the meat-free options were. He described "the Joe" as a pesto pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and feta, so that's what I ordered. The pizza that was delivered, however, was a bell-pepper, mushroom, onion, and marinara pizza. The delivery guy suggested that since the order that was written was for "the Joe" and the pizza that was delivered was "the Joe", that he could bring some pesto and feta... obviously this was an error on the part of the employee on the phone, but I was hungry, so I agreed. Minutes later, the manager appeared at my door with warm pesto sauce, and a good amount of feta, along with a complimentary desert, and a humble apology. Sometimes in life there is operator error, and it is how we correct the error that counts. The pizza was delicious, as was the desert. The immediate and humble actions on the part of the delivery guy and the manager turned this from a 2* review to a 5* review. Well done...

I ordered it June 30th at 8:30pm and they called me at 9:45pm saying they were swamped and running behind and if I still wanted the pizza. I said yes (we were so hungry at this point but wanted to wait it out!) they delivered it at 11pm, and the delivery guy wasn’t too happy. The next day despite the fact that it took forever we still wanted pizza because like I said it was AMAZING. I tried ordering online and realized it said no online orders so I called and said “Hello, Are you guys still taking orders?” (It was still open for 1hrs and 10min.) the man replied “No! I’m tired he is tired, we are all tired we aren’t taking anymore orders!” That was it that’s how the phone call went. Rude, short, and really just a let down. I get they may be tired or swamped with work but it would of been better customer service if he would of said “I’m sorry we aren’t taking anymore orders at the time!” I really love the food I just personally think customer service...
