It blows my mind that this place has the amount of good reviews that it has, because I came in thinking this place was gonna be the bees knees, but I was totally wrong and completely let down of my (not that high) expectations. For starters, the surrounding area has very mediocre food so I felt like this place was going to pretty much match everything else the city had to offer. Entering the store, it was really nice, and felt homey. I initially thought I was in a clothing store that sold donuts on the side to bring in some extra revenue. I ordered a dozen donuts. Keep in mind people, when you buy donuts, you’re buying deep fried bread with sugar on top. You’re not buying donuts, where all the ingredients are hand made in Switzerland, and the only way to transport it is by boat. Tell my why I paid 50 dollars for 12 donuts? Almost 4 dollars per donut? I get that this place is located 8 hours away from the nearest…anything, but why are customers expected to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a regular sized donut. The taste did not meet the price point, very greasy, but the dough was very very fluffy and soft (the only good thing I have to say unfortunately) but the oil was still heavily attached to the bottom of the donuts as if they came straight out of the fryer. It made me miss the hole in the wall donut spots that I’m used to back home, that were 3x better, and were less than half the price of what I paid here.

There’s literally no other donut spots within a 200 mile radius, so this place is safe to stay until the city allows somebody to open up an Dunkin’ Donuts or a Krispy Kreme and it’s bye bye...

Sweet Coloradough is more than just a doughnut shop—it's an experience that's uniquely delightful. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and inviting, with service that was not only friendly but also genuinely funny, creating a memorable visit filled with laughter.

Now, let's talk about those doughnuts—wow! They are simply fantastic. Each one tasted incredibly fresh and was generously sized, satisfying our cravings perfectly. Whether it was a classic flavor or a creative specialty, every bite was a testament to their skill and dedication to quality.

Beyond doughnuts, Sweet Coloradough offered a range of charming merchandise, including hats and socks that added to the overall fun and vibe of the place.

In conclusion, Sweet Coloradough exceeded expectations with its superb doughnuts, vibrant atmosphere, and exceptional service. It's more than a bakery; it's an essential stop for anyone seeking a delicious treat and a good laugh in a...

Hot action!

The owner, employees and vibe at Sweet Coloradough is immaculate. From the amazing branded RV and car outside to the friendly service it is a treat (sweet and savory) to come to this Glenwood institution.

There is always a line and rightfully so as the food is great and nothing else like it in Glenwood Springs.

They have a good amount of Colorado merchandise and you can also order boozy coffee or booze for your morning or afternoon.

The cronuts are divine as are all of the doughnut options. They are fresh and if you're lucky you get a batch that just came out. I also tried the breakfast burrito which was very filling and came with sides of guacamole (needs a bit of spice but very fresh), salsa and sour cream. My only ask would be crispier hash browns. The sausage, eggs, cheese, etc. were all fresh and cooked to order.

I definitely recommend Sweet Coloradough and thankful I don't live too close otherwise I'd be coming here...

I recently visited Sweet Coloradough along with my colleague from work on a Sunday morning. The parking area was completely packed which speaks volumes about the place. We somehow got the space. It was a moving crowd. We were in the queue for at least 15 minutes before we hunted for the donuts. The guy in the shop was offering free shots of Tequila at 9:30 in the morning which was an amazing offering. We somehow had other plans so we played sober. We took a half a dozen boxes of donuts as we were only two people to finish all of that. We went with selecting all different varieties along with regular coffee and drip coffee. We also tried small filling donuts which were quite fresh and tasty. Overall the taste of donuts was amazing and I am looking forward to visiting the place again. But this time I would love to try the other varieties and hopefully we will get the parking space as well, lol!

Went for doughnuts and ended up with a delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich. Somehow after paying at the register the guy asked if I wanted a Philly cheese steak sandwich and catching me off guard I asked how he knew I would want a Philly he simply replied "just a feeling". Knowing I couldn't pass up this opportunity I took him up on the offer. I simply waited outside on the tables eating some delicious doughnuts when the sandwich arrived. It was not your typical style. On 2 pieces of toast I was worried but then, I took the first bite and was instantly in tranquility. The combination of steak to cheese without the over abundance of pepper was amazing. Go for the doughnuts and get you a Philly it will be worth it.

This place was incredible! The wife and I Googled this place while on our honeymoon in Glenwood and decided to go on an adventure and stop along the way. We were blown away at how incredible the donuts were and how excellent and friendly the staff was! Our first stop we had a peanut butter, chocolate, strawberry donut and a cronut! Wow. Love at first bite. This beautiful donut pictured below has ruined every other donut for me for the rest of my life. On our last visit we both got two Roaring Fork sandwiches. Both of them were filling and satisfying. You will hate yourself if you skip their coffee. Consistent, flavorful, and delicious coffee every time. We hope to be back in the near future!
