Village Dispensary — Local services in Godfrey

I wish I could give it 3 1/2 stars but my most recent visit 7/7 with bud tender gave the half star back. I’ve only been a few times and will continue to support now that I know what to expect & would much rather support this facility over the scandals of the not to be named shop near fast eddies since village dispensary carries better product anyway but the customer service at previous visits left a lot to be desired.. I have good knowledge of cannabis and had went in for my first time to test the service asking about product recommendations for people experiencing pain (which should be a good baseline of their knowledge). I was disappointed to just get jokes from 2 bud tenders “just have to smoke a lot & drink tequila” I understand this isn’t a medical oriented facility but was shocked by their response and was only provided real strains once they saw much I ended up spending picking my own selections and then I was no longer interested in their recommendations & felt I wasn’t taken seriously. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of my encounter 7/7 he actually had good recommendations & thoughtful answers. I hope more training is given to the people behind the registers on the products they’re providing since this is a new facility. Will look forward to seeing improvement @...

O-M-G. I’ve visited a few dispensaries in the area and decided to try this one out. This one is by far the best I’ve been too. Prices are amazing, and they even provided a welcome discount for my first time visiting. The place was easy to access, parking was so convenient- some dispensaries (ehem ascend ehem) make you park so far away if you aren’t medical and you have to enter and exit in such specific weird ways.. this place was NOT that. Literally was such a breeze. The place was bright and clean and welcoming, as well as the workers who were so eager to help you. The drinks come cold, which tells me they value keeping the quality as good as possible. Also some dispensaries (ehem ascend again.. lol) have extremely confusing payments and give you all sorts of different totals and additional charges. This dispensary didn’t seem to do that. Just a very honest place of business. I’ll be coming here from now on! Please keep those jalapeño drinks...

I would definitely recommend using their website to see what items they have in stock before going in , because they're selection and prices are really hit or miss. They can have some decent products and prices like the botanist vapes, but it seems like every time they run a good product, at a reasonable price, they either run out fast or they raise the price on it. Last couple times I went in, they were all out of the botanist vapes and the cheapest carts they had left were $40. Im a customer that regularly spends over a $100 a month there, if not more and even with my medical card, it can get expensive fast. I just wish they had more discounts or coupons for the customers that regularly shop there. They could easily do so and still make plenty of profit. They have reward points, but you cant even use them until you have so many, and the savings are negligible compared to the money you end...
