Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Alton

So I go through drive Tru. I order #13. The sign says 8 dollars something. So I order curly fries substitute. The guy says 9.27 I think ok just enough money. Husband says the screen said 10.27 so to be safe I count change. Get to wind guy said 10.27 so we made a joke about price. He didn't laugh. We paid and asked for taco sauce please. They made us pull up to bushes to wait 14 min. They brought out meal well no curly fries. First girl is nice and goes to get them we thought. She comes back and says that's not what he put in regular fries. While she was telling us this I look at my sandwich and my bread is so barely toasted that it is still soft like it was just taken out of loaf and chicken added. I comment that it's not toasted she gets attitude and starts raising her voice that she personally just ran it through toaster herself twice so she doesn't know what to tell us. We said fine whatever and left very upset. I look in bag and to boot there is no sauce to put on my chicken ugh. Worst order from there ever as well as service. Our ticket says Jessica but I never actually seen...

Went there today for a late lunch around 3:00 pm , not a rush hour . One star is giving way too many . We placed our order and sat at the table to the left of the counter ,after 15 min still no food. Finally they brought our food but it wasn't ours so the lady picked up from our table after us touching it and took it straight to the next table . Waited another 10 min and they had to take our receipt because they couldn't find our order. Finally got half our order and had to go to the counter to request the other half twice . While there manager yelled at employees for cussing then coached another employee about walking out back and leaving the fryer unattended an everyone heard her telling her and others about her write up. To top everything off the tacos sucked because they some how were burned on the outside and raw in the middle. My jumbo Jacks had sat up there so long the lettuce was hot and nasty. Bad experience over all don't think we'll be back to...

I am only leaving this review cause I gave the place a couple opportunities for things to get better and they didn't!! Tacos/burgers are ALWAYS COLD OR FILLED WITH GREASE! They end up giving me the wrong order. For instance I ordered a breakfast jack with bacon and they give me HAM!? Ordered 2 jumbo jacks and they came with NOTHING on them and so dried out that I just threw them away! The food quality is HORRIBLE! I placed a order on my app and it told me 7-9 mins before it was done so got there 10 mins later AND STILL NOT DONE! Employees stood around talking as I had to wait another 10-15 mins to get my order!! Not a very friendly environment as employees don't seem to like their jobs. I use to really enjoy their tacos and other items there but if I'm craving Jack in the box I go to the WOOD...
