The first time I went there I went with a whole ton of people like at least 15. I'm pretty sure they booked a reservation, And the waitress we had was a little bit rude but I mean I guess it's pretty understandable when you're serving 15 people.
The second time I went there I don't remember much but I know it was pretty good.
And for the third time I went there I was there with two people aside from me. We looked at the menus for about 7 minutes and then a lady took our order she seemed a bit out of it but I'm sure it was because she was I think the only waiter there but she was really friendly. And she said that we could take her time. The food was absolutely amazing and I'm not sure if it's because I was absolutely starving and I just went swimming but it hits so good. I already know I'm going to eat My leftovers for work tomorrow.
I had a Coke and unfortunately I had reached the bottom of it and there was a little bit of the typical empty Coke drinking sounds from a straw and the lady came out of nowhere and said "Did you want me to refill that?" And I swear the Good waitresses always do that.
So I got a Coke and then I got the chicken curry with medium spice and then I got a really really good appetizer I forgot what it was called though. And the price came out to be around 25ish dollars...
Read moreI've eaten here two times, it's literal heaven. The servers are polite, food doesn't take long, and can remove stuff i.e cilantro.
The spice levels are kinda weird, cause trying spicy v.s extra spicy 2, it's kinda way too much a difference.
The 1st time I came, I got the Rogan josh (goat), chicken tandoori, garlic naan without cilantro, manga lassi, vegetable samosa, and tamurian chutney. Never had goat before but this place made me realize I was missing out, though the samosas were good not something I would order again. Chicken tandoori 100/10, completely perfect and seasoned so well I could enjoy it via smell (I have a very sensitive nose, like pass out in the scented candle aisle sensitive). The rice is amazing, if I could I would order that completely alone. The naan with the chutney is amazing, tamurian chutney is sweeter than I expected but very welcomed. Mango lassi was super good, no complaints. Rogan josh was a teensy bit sweet which was weird considered it was spicy X2(which it was). Everything but the samosa is reheatable in a microwave
Atmosphere is nice and calm, music 10/10. Fabric napkins feel much better than paper, and...
Read moreNice, beautiful and simple decor, clean, and the ONLY Indian food in Grand Forks so I was hoping it was good food. I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food and the decor and cleanliness of the place. The AC was on just right ... not too strong and not too low for summer heat in late July 2022. The table and menu was very clean and so was the bathroom. I am vegetarian and was happy that they could make me a vege tikka masala which is my favorite dish in the world. I asked for extra veges and I was happy to pay the $1.95 extra for it. Then when I received the dish, the masala was amazing but most of the veges were big potato pieces and carrots. Those are my least favorite veges. I was hoping for more cauliflower, tomato, green pepper, onion, and even broccoli. Next time I will just ask for the regular vege tikka masala and no extra veggies bc I am afraid to get mostly potato. Other than that the servers were nice and kind. The portion of basmati rice with cumin was perfect (generous). I love the parasols all over the ceiling! They are so colorful and beautiful. The decor is not over done. And the music is not too loud and...
