Ordered the BBQ Pork, cream cheese wontons, pork fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, and beef and chicken in birds nest for take out. Bbq pork was dry and the sauce was a total miss for me, although my husband did enjoy. The beef and chicken in birds nest is listed on the menu as “sliced beef, chicken, fresh broccoli, mushrooms, snow peas, and carrots cooked with chefs special sauce in crispy basket”. I don’t know what the crispy basket is meant to be as it was nowhere to be found in our take out, and the meal I received also had huge slices of celery stalk and green pepper in it, which unfortunately, I strongly dislike. I had chosen this dish based off the menu description because it had listed all vegetables I was a big fan of, and this kind of ruined it for me. Cream cheese wantons are not sweet (if you are used to a sweeter Rangoon), and the way their were folded and fried made them extra crunchy to the point I could not enjoy them and had to throw everything but the softer filled outside ring away. The chicken in sweet and sour chicken was inconsistent in texture but over all tasted good according to my husband. Fried rice was really dry, but the white rice was pleasant. Overall, not the worst, I think maybe I just made a bad choice, but ultimately straying from the menu description was really disappointing.

I wanted to get a vegetable with garlic sauce dish or just chopped garlic in the sauce if they don’t make a specific garlic sauce…and I got the order pretty fast like 10-15 min at most but when I went home to eat it, the smell was medicinal and I realized it was due to the many celery pieces they added which makes the whole dish taste really bad, there were fresh (not canned) mushrooms, onions, and some carrot slices. But the broccoli wasn’t really fresh and they added whole garlic pieces which were mushy and tasteless which happens when you don’t chop it for the flavor I was hoping for. Then after I put it in the fridge I saw that the sauce turned into a gelatin like texture. So I had to wash out all the sauce w a strainer and added my own chopped garlic and soy sauce to be able to eat it. Otherwise my $15 take out dish would have gone to waste. The staff are nice and they were mostly young high school to college age students and they were kind and respectful. I just wish the food reflected the goodness of the hospitality. A nice surprise: A nice ramen like base soup…complimentary with the food. Has rice and scallions. Tasty.

As an asian, their food is just alright. I ordered their diced chicken lunch set and it was not bad, but the gravy was on the salty side. Usually, when i have salty food, the thirst for water kicks in after a few hours but when i ate that, it kicked in even before i finished my meal. Lunch prices vs the portion was fair, u get what u paid for, it was supposed to come with tea but we didn't get any. My bf ordered sweet and sour chicken with chow mein and it was weird he got a plate of cabbages in gravy, we checked the reviews and noticed lots of people having the same problem and the owner replied someone saying they do their chow mein differently and it's more like chop suey. It's weird why they wouldn't change the chow mein term to chop suey but leave it as chow mein to mislead other's thinking they would get noodles, especially when you google "china garden chow mein" they would show you brown noodles. Overall, it's an average chinese restaurant where i would go back when i want a quick chinese fix that is reasonably priced.

Called and ordered dinner for pick up from China Garden last night. Not only was the person taking my order incredibly rude but he was also incapable of understanding the menu even after reading the exact item and description off of the menu verbatim. Finally after 7 minutes to order beef and vegetables, combination a(lo mein & sweet and sour pork), and a failed attempt to order pot stickers because although I just ordered them there, they 'have never had them', 🙄 okay. He said it would be ready in about 20 minutes, sent friend in to pick it up after about 30 minutes just to find that he entered my phone number wrong, didn't submit my order(even though they charged my card twice), and made her wait an additional 45 minutes after arriving to pick it up all the while treating her poorly over his mistakes. The manager was yelling at him and pointing at my friend making her uncomfortable while waiting. He did not apologize nor communicate what was happening to her, had I not already paid twice, I would have just told her to leave. She got to my house just to find that they did not get anything in the order correct. They gave us burnt rice, sauteed vegetables with no flavor or meat, and sweet and sour chicken with gravy? Called them to ask if it could be fixed and the manager told me that I should have picked it up myself and checked it before I left and that she would not fix the order or let me bring the incorrect items back to get what I actually ordered(even if I did so myself with the receipt, that showed they got the order COMPLETELY wrong). To top it off when I asked about my card getting charged twice she said 'sorry about that' and hung up. Will NOT be ordering from them again, NOR going to there again. PSA: Panda Buffet had perfect service, food, and delivery that was faster than ordering an hour ahead of time at...

I came in to sit down for lunch at 1:20 PM. I notice it was a sign that said wait to be seated here so I waited 5 minutes to be seated while I was just standing there watching them look at a screen behind the front desk and not even acknowledging me. The 2nd lady that came out and finally addressed me by do you know what you want and I said yes I would like to be seated. While I was picking up a Togo menu after seating me then she yelled (58) and walked away from me then brought me a glass of water. And walked away again. I waited so either her or the 1st older lady at the front to come back because I noticed on the menu it said Ask your server for today lunch special while looking through the menu, I noticed everything basically came with pork or pork fried rice. I don’t eat pork at all, so I had other questions in my mind like do they cook everything in the same pots and pans at this point I noticed that they had a side salad for around five dollars and their vegetable fried rice was around $10, same as their chicken fried rice. So long story short I was waiting until 5 mins. Ago before I just stood up and walked out I never ever touched the water and I never seen the cost for a pot of tea on the menu. I have not been here in many years and now I guess I remember why. EVERYBODY DONT EAT PORK....
