Patricia's Chocolate — Local services in Grand Haven

I know there are other chocolate shops in Grand Haven, but I honestly believe Patricia's is the best of them all. The chocolate is heavenly, the service outstanding and the storefront is charming!

There are sooo many flavor options behind the glass and you can taste any of them. In fact, they encourage it.

During the winter they serve the most luxurious hot chocolate, that can be served with a swizzle stick - an ice cream stick with chocolate at the end to swirl in your hot chocolate. They also make home made marshmallow, french macarons with ganache, and a ton of other great chocolate treats and caramels.

The owners and employees are sooo amazing. Patricia and her husband... Paul? are the most darling pair. They LOVE their customers and believe in customer service! Excellent example of that - I was planning a weekend get away to visit my aunt and wanted to bring chocolates from Patricia's. Though they were closed, Paul picked up the phone and told me to come right in. He would open the door for me and make sure I got what I needed! Apparently, there was someone else with a chocolate emergency, because Paul opened the door for the gentleman too!

Stopped in yesterday just to see what it was and I’m so glad I did. I was expecting a candy store but was delighted to find a high quality, 5 star chocolate experience led by Miss Patricia herself! She indulged my entire family in samples of her delicious chocolate. The imagery and display of the chocolate is exquisite. There were so many flavors to choose from and Patricia talked us through each flavor, telling us where all the ingredients were sourced from. She talked to my 6 year old son for about 10 minutes indulging him about all of his questions. We left with a four count of the chocolate in a hand wrapped box with the colored ribbon of my choice. We have not tried all 4 pieces yet but I can definitely say I will be back, many, many times and I will take anyone and everyone there that I can!
