Usually I would give this place a 5 star review, but this time was far from star worthy. After driving an hour to eat here we arrive to find the dining room was closed at 6:40pm. We tried to order online and it said ordering was unavailable so we had to order outside at the window and do a to-go order. Not the best option with 2 kids under 5 with us. I placed a food order worth $110 and the gal repeated my order back, but with traffic, kids, and the crowd around it was hard to hear. I went back up to the window to place a drink order totaling $20 30min into our 45min-1 hour wait time. My name was taken and I was told our drinks would be out shortly. After another 10min my daughter went and asked where our drinks were and they were sitting there. No one ever called my name or send me a text saying they were ready. Shortly after our food order was done. We were missing our kids Mac and Cheese. The lady who took the order asked for the receipt and claimed the Mac and cheese on the receipt was the Kids Mac and cheese and made us order another Mac and cheese and pay for it. The receipt clearly showed I already paid for a Mac and cheese, but the kids one I ordered and she heard me ask my 4 year old what she wanted and order, was the one missing. $130 later and the food was mediocre and I'm bothered they would make us pay for a Mac and cheese we clearly had on...

Foods delicious I have nothing to complain about that, my issue lies with the older gentleman worker who very rudely approached me. I was very stressed and trying to calm myself down and yes I was vaping while sitting outside near the street. I was vaping the entire time, I saw at least 4 others vaping nearby including 2 other people of my party RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. He very rudely strode up to me and said "There's no vaping here, there's people trying to eat." Understandable. I would very gladly step off to the side my issue lies in the way he spoke to me. There are 99 other ways to approach someone other than rudely especially when that person is mid anxiety attack and ready to pass out. I very politely apologized. I wasn't even obnoxiously blowing smoke everywhere I made sure to keep it inhaled and blew out into the street. I'm very polite when it comes to my bad habits, I try my best to not make it an issue for others. I've worked customer service for the past 5 years, I've worked as a cashier in Saugatuck off the canal on 4th of July. I understand the stress and want for the shift to be over but under no circumstances should you be rude to a customer. It was my first time there and I was loving my experience up until I was approached by a rude employee. Hopefully next time I return people are a bit more friendly even when it comes to...

Came in with a large 10 person order towards the end of the night. Staff was very friendly (dealing with indecisive 10 year olds) every sandwich was ordered with a lemonade and several apps as well. They got every item right and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food. With such a large order and the large numbers of customers in line we anticipated a wait but it couldn't have been even ten minutes before they text our party saying our order was ready. Sandwiches, incredible. Appetizers, delicious. Lemonades, quenching. Also, while we're on the subject of lemonade this is not your run of the mill country time lemonade put into those plastic recirculating containers. No my friend this is artisan, gourmet lemonade with several flavor variants available to meet whatever your unique palate desires. They also have boba as an option which as you may know if you're hanging with a younger crowd, this is the currents cat's pajamas. At the end of the day I would recommend eating here to a friend or a family member. Heck, I would recommend this to my mortal enemy Jake to thaw his frozen heart. Anyway, really good food, really great service and those two make good memories for kids which is what it is all about. And I'll never forget October...

Good, but a bit overpriced. - Bacon Jam Burger: Twangy sweet. The burger was a medium quality burger, better than fast food, but not gastropub quality. It is a handmade patty grilled (not smash style). It was quite greasy, though. It was $15 for a burger (NO FRIES OR CHIPS) which is a bit steep for the quality. You are paying for convenience here. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that good either. - Service: Ordered at the counter inside, but delivered to your table. They were happy to help and kind enough to explain their burger selection (the burgers were not all together on the menu) and assist with clarity. Self-serve water was nice, but the thinner plastic cups didn’t do well with the water trigger because it required a lot of force. You can also order from the window outside. - Atmosphere: The location is close to the river and not too far from the lake and beach and therefore convenient. The indoor seating is a bit run down and uncomfortable. The temperature was warm and stuffy. There also isn’t a ton of seating and the inside was closed when we left because they ran out. There are probably 7-8 tables and window service walking by the back ones a lot. Stopped around 2:30 PM on a Monday during the Coast Guard Festival 2024.

We got carryout on a Sunday to be brought to Oddside Ales. Ordered 2 sandwiches and fries. Took about 30 minutes which is totally fine given how busy they are on a weekend. We opened our sandwich boxes to reveal two lackluster sandwiches - my caprese not only had a SINGLE end of a tomatoes with no 'meat' on it but also had a nice WHITE - animal looking - hair stuck to it (see picture). The "goat cheese" was a tiny bit to the side of the bread... looked like someone could care less to make that sandwich. Which would be fine, if they didn't charge the prices they charged. I called and the gal on the phone was helpful - her manager in the background was abrasive when speaking to her from what I could hear. I was very nice in my complaint, they offered a new one to which I said no as my expectations of a proper, hairless sandwich was now slim to non. I wanted a refund. I offered to bring the sandwich back to show them but the nice gal said that was unnecessary. All in all, over priced food for the build they give you - at least make your description (and cleanliness!) Match your prices. Do better. Looking forward to our refund that hopefully goes through...

Fine food. Fine pricing. Interesting nachos. Ordered the Nashville Hottie. From the name and description, it’s supposed to be sweet and spicy. But it was all sweet and no spice at all. The chicken was on the dry side and had little to no seasoning. The flavor was entirely reliant on the sauce. I was a little let down. But the batter and crispness was on point. The bread tasted so good, along with the coleslaw. Maybe don’t get this if you want spice. I forget what it was called, but it was a grilled cheese with Avacado in it with a side of tomato. Best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. Again, the bread was perfect. Perfect toast level, butter application, and cheese selection. The Avacado was a great addition. Must try. Pulled pork nachos… again very sweet (not my thing). And they don’t use tortilla chips, they use kettle chips. That was my biggest gripe. Some people may like the chips they use, not me personally. It didn’t really go together, imo. But everything else about it is great. Not much seating inside. So get ready to sit next to strangers. Great service though. Overall: 7.9/10
