Great view, but not the best seating. Bring your own chairs. You can see and hear the musical fountain from here every night from Memorial Day to Labor Day as well as Fridays and Saturdays in May and September. Tune into 88.7 FM for the music. Getting pictures can be difficult, but it is still amazing to see. There are lots of food and ice cream vendors around, but they are not cheap or high quality, but often good enough or even great. They are offering convenience and often have very long lines. You’ll have to decide if it is worth it. It is a very gradual slope so seeing over the people ahead is a bit challenging if the event is in the water. If it is in the air or the musical fountain area, you should be fine. We visited during the 100th Coast Guard Festival (2024) and the Fourth of July Fireworks (pictures taken from Escanaba Memorial Park of the Waterfront Stadium). We have also visited numerous other times.

This is a great spot in Grand Haven for a local concert. Right by the water and there's ample seating. Be prepared for sunset though. The sun is literally shining right in your face. Bring your sunglasses and UV umbrella if you like using those. I was present during the Van Halen Invasion concert and it was literally so hot. Everybody's faces looked like they were melting in the sun. Other than the unbearable heat, it's a great spot. I would come here again to enjoy a concert.

Grand Haven musical fountain is amazing! We love coming here but we are excited as they are installing the middle of june their new sound system! Great seating. Nice to see everything! Kids love it and they can go dance on stage! Shows start at 10pm so be prepared for a long night. Also map out time for parking and leaving. Usually the city is packed by 7pm and traffic is a nightmare. Take the time to go everyone! Its a must do this summer!!!!

I’m wondering how to submit a claim for a refund. I’m listening to the 80s music concert on 7/25/2025 and out of the 13 songs played so far only one has been from the 80s. Mostly 1976 and earlier. I think the band didn’t understand the assignment or the booking agent didn’t understand the band. Sad.

Ok, after the absurdly long break, there was a renewed understanding of the assignment. They played a prolonged all 80s medley. Not a bad selection at all. Bumped...
