Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Grand Haven

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Grand Haven in the weekend of April 19 and April 20. On Saturday, April 20, about 9:00am after our coffee; we decided to walk across the street and try out this bread company. We were the only customers in there at that time. We were greeted by a young man at the counter. He was very friendly and pleasant to talk to.

The place looked great. The young man offered us samples of bread at the front counter. We sampled cinnamon swirl bread and that was good! We didn’t eat there, but got few things to go. We bought a Pizza Swirl Bread and some sort of breakfast ham cupcake/muffin (see pictures). Both of them were very delicious! Please stop by this place in the morning and get their breakfast cupcakes! I should have gotten my coffee to go to eat it with the breakfast cupcake/muffin.

I would recommend stopping by the bread company and try out their samples. I think they have different breads on different days. Looks like they make and bake fresh bread every day. I would definitely go there again if we’re in the area again. Atmosphere is good. It was cozy and smells amazing! Different fresh bread and treats...

I hadn't planned on stopping here but I'm glad I did. The sign out front declaring Cinnamon roll called me in. I ordered a Cinnamon Roll and a cookie to go. However they offer a free slice of bread. So I got Cinnamon Chip loaf. I put butter and honey on it and sat down to eat it. It was simply Phenomenal. It was a large slice of bread, but I inhaled it. It was so soft and flavorful. It almost melted in your mouth. I ended up buying a loaf it was.

The cinnamon roll and cookie ended up being Very Good, not as good as the bread though.

Overall 5 stars. Would I return?...

Amazing prices and fresh baked goods. The service is always friendly and the bread and baked goods are incredible. The baked goods don't always look pretty, but they taste great. At least one of the scone options usually has cream cheese, and they are different, but good! If you are in the area and looking for a quick breakfast treat and good coffee, I would highly recommend this place. It has a hometown bakery feel, and it's certainly nothing fancy, but it is probably the best café...
