Mad Margaret's — Local services in Grand Junction

We love Mad Margrets. The prices aren't always the best in the world but the contents make up for it. Few things are more fun then wandering the rows of costumes ranging from the expected to the insane. The Attendants are overly helpful, very friendly and not only knowledge but interested and always learning more whenever possible about the products they sell. They have a little adult toy and lingerie collection that while at first glance seems small upon closer inspection is rather respectable especially for junction and easily the best prices on adult toys in town as well as some of the only higher end products available in town. My only recommendation and word of caution is to know something about adult toys or Google everything you buy. Unfortunately while they carry lots of great products they also have more then a few trashy junk products in fancy looking boxes mixed in that will leave you disappointed when you realize that they don't work straight out of the box. I was looking for a "Col. Sanders" KFC costume after some "can do" assurances via telephone, as it is a 90 mile drive for me. When I arrived, they spent some time to show me suggestions, until another customer arrived. Sales staff then were off with them. Selected items in hand, I waited for seven minutes at the unattended cash register before they finally returned to check me out. Their suggestion to "spray this wig with this white coloring" was a joke. Obviously they had never tried it. Without the necessary white hair and goatee beard, my attempt quickly became a bust, and I abandoned this costume idea. Although the other items, including a $55 cheaply made white suit, fake glasses, and a western string tie were all unopened, they refused to take them back. This store is wonderful! It has really changed since I was in there several years ago. They have new staff and the old lady who was so cold and unfriendly IS GONE! She must have hated her job and she scared people off. THE NEW MANAGER IS KIND AND HELPFUL. The new employees love their jobs and are very friendly and helpful. I'm back shopping here again.
