Urgent — Requesting Help & Oversight: Kent County / Allegan County Misconduct (I have records)
I am posting to ask for help and to notify the public: I am requesting federal oversight and protection for my family due to what I believe are retaliatory and unlawful actions by actors in Kent and Allegan Counties, Michigan. I allege the following, and I have over 350 pages of records to back these claims (police reports, CPS reports, Friend of the Court records, probate filings, Railside Assisted Living bills, medical appointment records, and DHS records). • After my ex-son-in-law was ordered to pay child support, he allegedly made false abuse claims against his ex-wife and her father to avoid financial obligations. Despite prior abuse concerns, two of my grandchildren were placed into partial custody with that father.
• I allege exculpatory evidence was withheld/excluded in the criminal case against the grandfather, who remains incarcerated. I have a police report indicating alleged coaching by the accuser’s parent. • Allegan County CPS pursued an allegation against me that I “smelled of alcohol” at a granddaughter’s appointment — but I have proof the appointment was canceled. The medical office marked it as a no-show. I believe this was retaliatory. • Kent County is pursuing embezzlement charges against me even though DHS/Allegan records show my sister-in-law paid bills and the mortgage to protect my granddaughter. • My sister-in-law, Diann Shuck, was blocked from discharge at Railside Assisted Living and declared incapacitated in Probate Court on August 14, 2025, without notice or ability to defend herself. She has lost access to decades of savings, and family members are being displaced from property she owns. I am requesting immediate federal review and an independent investigation. I will provide copies of my records to authorized investigators. If anyone has experience with federal civil-rights complaint processes, DOJ intake, or can point me to contacts for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Rights Division, Office of Inspector General, or a Congressional staffer who will accept documents, please message me. I am sharing this because I am afraid for my family’s safety and want this documented publicly so that there is a record.
(If you want to share documents with me privately for context, please message — but I will only share evidence with authorized...
Read moreThe family court division of the 17th circuit court is nothing more than a white collar, criminal organization. I was put through two full years of pain and outrageous financial expense undergoing the divorce process. During this time I came to realize how the corruption works. First, the court uses the FOC which is totally incompetent. They made mistakes in nearly EVERY calculation over a 2 year period. When the FOC made mistakes, I was responsible for the time and expense to fix it. The attorneys and court system were rewarded financially (at my expense) every time an FOC mistake is made. Do you really think they want the mistakes to stop? Furthermore, I learned that opposing counsel can insist on going against the rules/guidelines of the process without any liability. If I wanted to object to the deviation from the rules, I would be forced to have a full blown trial, causing more undue suffering and costing many more thousands of dollars. Then there would be no penalty for the attorney insisting on breaking the guidelines/rules. This is nothing short of legalized extortion. The judges are analogous to organized crime bosses and the attorneys are analogous to the soldiers/enforcers of organized crime. This system is abuse of the citizenry by tyrannical government. I still cannot believe what I experienced. Even my attorney admitted that the system was corrupt, yes he actually used the word "corrupt". I would have thought I was living in a banana republic! Don't take my word for it, do some research on the business of divorce in this country. This is a travesty of justice, that occurs every day in this country, and it must...
Read moreIn the past I found the clerks, receptionists, and staff to be quite helpful and nice. The 17th circuit court handled my parents custody case, my adoption case, the adoption of my youngest son, the custody case involving my oldest son, and they have even displayed my artwork before. However, it seems those days are gone. The only nice people we encountered on 1/21/22 were the officers by the front door. First complaint: Whoever is in charge of mailing important papers, summons, or vital information needs more coworkers, they are overwhelmed. A "letter to appear" was sent to my son's father's ex-wife, but nothing was sent my address, the only one on file for my child. It was a miracle we even found out about it 2 days before. Second complaint: Directly involves Paul Ziedins. He was callas and rude. Even at the beginning, as I attempted to explain the address issue, he talked over me. Though he says he isn't there to judge, he treated my son as if he was a harden criminal. Our personal opinion of Mr. Ziedins is he is jaded. Sadly he no longer cares about helping individuals try and make better decisions, now he just tags them for the system...
