Oh my goodness, I can't say enough good things about Morning Ritual Cafe in Grand Rapids!
First off, can we just talk about how amazing it is that they have their own parking lot? This is such a rarity in this day and age, and it makes popping in for a quick cup of joe or a full brunch experience so much more convenient.
Speaking of the space, it is just darling. It's cute, cozy, and the perfect spot to gather with friends or simply bask in the ambiance while sipping on a latte. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
And let's talk about the coffee - oh my goodness! The coffee is so delicious and flavorful. Plus, they are always coming up with new specials and caffeinated creations that are to die for.
But what really sets Morning Ritual apart is their commitment to supporting the local community. They host so many fun shop pop-ups that allow local artisans and small business owners to showcase their amazing creations. It's wonderful to see a business that truly cares about its community and takes an active role in promoting local talent.
Overall, I can't recommend Morning Ritual Cafe enough. The parking lot, the cute space, the tasty coffee, and the community involvement all make for an absolutely...
Read moreFirst, I would like to say that their coffee was very good. We had an iced latte and iced coffee. Really wanted to try the nitro cold brew but it was out... totally understandable. We were both very pleased with the drinks. My less than stellar rating comes from the treats they sold. We got a cinnamon roll and the pop-tart looking thing. They both tasted very old. I could not even cut through the cinnamon roll as it appeared to be very stale. Turns out that's how it is supposed to be since it is gluten free and vegan. This made more sense, however there was no indication that they were gluten free, vegan, etc. Had I known this, I probably would not have selected this treat. It might have been better had they been able to heat it up, but they do not have a microwave. After telling the worker I was not satisfied and that they tasted old, she really did not offer any solution until I was clear that it was not good. She then texted her manager and was able to give us a refund. Overall I am not sure how I felt about the service; she clearly meant well and ended up being helpful, but I felt bad having to literally ask for the refund. Going forward, I would say skip the treats which taste pretty terrible and are way too pricey and stick to the drinks and you will not be...
Read moreThe ladies at morning ritual do an incredible job catering to their customer base. They answer all the questions that walk-ins and irregulars may have with such enthusiasm and are extremely friendly to the public. Although a bit cramped, they do offer wonderful in-house lattes and coffees with a bunch of baked goods from around the city both on display and in the Cold Case. Bonus they usually have marked down day old pastries as well if you're not picky and are more of a super bunny than a princess Diana. Many of the pastries on hand are from Rise authentic bakery, one of the best in the city. If I had any complaint it's just that the place can get cramped easily and I'm normally a stop in, grab and go type of person and don't usually stick around. When It gets backed up and it seems kind of crowded I just don't enter a specially with what's going on currently. That and the fact that they close at 5:00. There are some cold days or evenings when I get out of work when I would like to swing by and grab a matcha or a chai but they've already closed the doors. The building they are in is a very well renovated spot with absolutely gorgeous and inviting interiors. They even have a pet bowl out front if you are...
