The Tire Guy of Idaho — Local services in Grangeville

I am very unhappy with the Grangeville tire guy. I ordered new tires and rims ,the man who took my order was very nice and helpful. My tires and rims were supposed to be in on a Tuesday. My tires were in,my rims were not. I was told oh Wednesday,then Thursday,.THey came on Friday. I also purchased roadside,and new lug nuts. Turning conversations with office staff doing millage watenty I was told I didn't purchase road side,I had to pull out my,own copy as they couldn't find there copy. I drove 50 miles ,took it back to rework,thankfully my husband noticed my old lug nuts and asked why the new ones I had bought were not put on.He was told the wrong ones were ordered and the new ones should be in the following Friday. Mind you we were not told that they had not come in. Called on Monday after hearing Friday still nothing,and was told nope not in .I finally had to get my money back on Wednesday. I have never had such problems with the cottonwood office. I spent 1900. Dollars and you would tho,I they would have been able to get my order correct,on time,and have more to say to me then I'm not sure,or I don't know. I will never do busisness there again .im very disappointed all...

I really like everyone there with the exception of the woman who waited on me this morning. When I asked for an estimate on front brake PADS she turned to her co worker and said should I order the pads and rotor kit….he said yes. I then said, “no….I don’t need rotators I just need pads”. Very condescendingly she said “well most people don’t know what they need until the Machanic gets in there….” I said, “well, I know what I need and I need pads! I keep tack of my pad % and I don’t need rotors”. This woman ACTUALLY rolled her eyes at me!!! Oh wow. Yes lady, I am a woman, but I’m not a dumb one. My businesses has to go somewhere else, not because of the owner or the Machanic’s but because of the 1st person you deal with in getting help. Front line impression wasn’t too favorable. I’m 66 years old and I don’t need ANYONE rolling...

Huge thank you for the kindness and care provided March 16. We were stuck Towing campers up a mountain road and called looking for help if they would stay open well past closing to provide us with chains. They ensured we had chains to safely get us up the road. I highly recommend the tire guy store in graingeville anytime you need...
