The doctors are allowed a whole ten minutes per patient. Speak fast if you want a correct diagnosis. Each visit is triage, deciding if you have a serious problem. Plan on multiple visits to convince them something is afoot. All this from a taxpayer funded hospital that offers nothing to the property owner/taxpayer. Non taxpaying people get the same service for the same cost and do not have to pay the tax. Syringa providers do not tell you up front what services cost, it takes months to bill, and you don't know what is being paid for. Surprise! Another bill comes a month or 2 or 3 later. They also warn you many entities may bill you (3rd party billing), but I haven't had a problem with that, yet. Demand an itemized bill for every service. Plus, when you call them to get the statement, be ready for telephone answering machine purgatory. Sadly, this is not unusual among providers. Oh what I would give for a good ol country doctor. ADDITION 2/4/2025: Three false billing problems later and they still don't care. I sent a letter to the CEO Abner King on Jan. 10th and he hasn't acknowledged it. Sadly, this is not unique to SGH. It's...
Read moreDr. Willson is a hard working Doctor and listens to everything I’m telling him that is wrong with me at the time being. I appreciate his expertise on what he thinks may or may not be going on with my conditions and trying to fix the problems in a timely manner. Before seeing my doctor the nurseries/staff that are taking all the information down to pass along to Doctor Willson were very friendly, helpful and vary patient with me, on tell them about what’s going on with me. So I thank all staff members for their expertise and their professionalism at the work place, as well as taking the proper time to care for their patient. These things show me as well as others that the doctors and staff care for people. To heal them up and not just for a pay check to get you out of the way and on to the next without really knowing what’s going on with that patient. So a big thanks for caring for...

Turns out my son was severely dehydrated (his kidneys are now injured) and also had pneumonia. We feel like we things maybe would not have been do bad on his kidneys if we would've gotten him fluids on Monday when I first mentioned that I was worried about him...
