Here's the deal - I just left Hobby Lobby. The closest craft store to my house. Mad. This is not the first time. When I picked up Halloween items off of a table display it said 40% off. All of the items are Halloween items ...witches cats ghosts jack-o-lanterns. I chose several. Even had a conversation with an employee who was stocking. Shop for about an hour. Go to checkout. Cashier tells me right up front Halloween is not 40% off...what?! Why would she say that right away? Must have been other customers with the same issue is what I think. Cashier tells me that fall stuff is 40% off. I tell her no that there was a sign fir 40% off because I was trying to decide what I liked the best and ended up with five items for 40% was the limit on my Halloween purchases. She asked another male employee who was not the manager. Getting a manager became a big deal. Icing on the cake was she told me I could look on line for when the Halloween stuff was on sale. ....so now I'm supossed to research it?!...not my first issue at this store. I'm not the type of person to haggle over money. But this is wrong. I even went back to the table ..the sign was MOVED..not there. It was on the table before. So...
Read moreOh Hobby Lobby, how disappointed I am in you. I’m giving you two stars because the checker was very courteous, and that’s all. There is no way to look up the location of items in your store because there is no internet service within the store. And because you’re a big box store, there is no cell phone service either. So I was left to search through the store to find what I needed: oven-baked modeling clay. Certainly this is a product which the name of your store would suggest you carry. Only I found clay that was marked with no instructions. The QRC on the package led to a German (?) website, only after I walked to the front of the store to get cell service. I don’t read German, so I asked the checker if anyone knew anything about this product. I was told by a manager to “just google it.” When I asked for someone to meet me in the clay aisle, I was told there was no one working the floor. Have we switched to an exclusively online society with no human knowledge to...
Read moreWas on our way home and decided to stop by this store to grab a few stuff ( 05/17/2025). The store itself was tidy, clean and organized (5⭐️). The lady that helped us at the store was helpful and nice ( 5 ⭐️). Unfortunately, the Hispanic lady at the checkout was rude and lacking in customer service/ proper interactions. Customers are allowed to change their minds if they decide not to purchase certain merchandise because the prices were messed up. She couldn’t even void/remove those scanned items without having the manager/ supervisor do it. To top it off, her facial expressions showed us that she wasn’t very happy with this “tiny ordeal”. What a joke! The advice to her would be, if you don’t like dealing with customers, don’t get a job dealing with customers at the cash registers. A thank you with the receipt would have been nice but she obviously couldn’t get us out the door fast enough...
