The Londoner’s Pub ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Looking for a spot to satisfy that craving for some hot and hearty grub? Look no further than The Londoner’s Pub - a local restaurant just off highway 121 that, despite its Texas-size building, maintains the cozy, intimate atmosphere of a quintessentially English pub! Both Mom and I ordered the Steak n’ Ale Pie with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side… it looked too good and neither of us wanted to share lol! The top of the pie was deflated, but I’m glad we didn’t judge this book by its crusty cover. The stew inside was full of rich mushroomy flavor, the beef was tender, and the pastry was perfectly flaky. Although the mash potatoes were creamy and delicious, the gravy fell a tad flat trying to compete with that amazing stew. For dessert, we split a heaping scoop of Orange marmalade Bread pudding! Not only were we impressed by it being the *tallest* bread pudding we’ve ever seen, but it was also completely indulgent in all the right ways - a clever twist on a classic British dessert. The cream on the side ended up being quite lumpy and flavorless. So we happily ate the rest of the pudding without it. Overall, mom and I agreed the Londoner’s Pub is going to be worth coming back to soon! The service was friendly and speedy, the atmosphere was dark and homey, and the food exceeded expectations. :).

As someone completely obsessed with all things London—from the architecture to the cozy pub culture—I was beyond thrilled to discover The Londoner tucked away in Colleyville, TX. Walking through the doors felt like stepping into a little slice of the UK right here in Texas. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with just the right touch of British charm that made my heart do a little happy dance. Now let’s talk about the food—wow. The wings were, quite literally, to die for. Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat and flavor, they were addictively good. And the Reuben? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth delicious—savory, perfectly balanced, and made with care. I also tried the shepherd’s pie which was rich and hearty, a true comfort dish. While it wasn’t quite my personal favorite, it was still well-made and generously portioned. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—they made the visit feel less like a dinner outing and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. You can tell they take pride in the place, and it shows in every detail. If you’re a fellow Anglophile or just looking for a cozy spot with fantastic food and top-tier service, The Londoner is a must-visit. I already can’t wait to return!

This is our first visit to The Londoner pub. Did they core was pretty authentic London pub along with the ambiance. The place was a little loud for the size of the crowd, which gave it more of that comforting hometown pub feel. I rated the food a solid 3. My wife had the fish and chips, it was a lot of food the fish was very tasty and breaded and fried nicely. The chips were a little on the greasy side, but had a good flavor. I had the bangers and mash which was a huge plate of food. The mash texture was great with just a little bit of small lumps to make you know they were housemaid, I loved the gravy and the onions were just a perfect compliment. I'm always a fan of Yorkshire pudding however this one was a little bit lacking in that beefy taste you get from using the beef fat. The bangerz had a fantastic flavor but we're just a touch dry. Clearly House made from the texture perspective, they just needed a little more fat. We ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding which was pretty good. They have a nice happy hour deal on draft beers which we enjoyed. I will return.

Very disappointing dining experience! To begin, our table was cleaned while we waited, but after we were seated, it was clear that the table was not wiped dry since it was wet all over and everything on the table became wet including napkins and menus and our sleeves - had to ask for the table to be dried. We were seated in a “booth,” but it it was very difficult to get in and out of that seating - older customers should beware. While expecting a pub food experience, at first, it seemed difficult to find pub food on the menu among offerings such as chips and salsa, wings, hummus, and buffalo chicken sandwiches. However, we finally landed on Scotch eggs, fish and chips, and bangers and mash. Unfortunately, the fish was the only item that came to the table at an edible temperature. The Scotch eggs were barely warm and oddly served with strawberry jam which was not complementary, at all, in terms of flavor profile. The fish in the fish and chips basket arrived very hot, but also incredibly greasy and greatly lacking in salt. In fact, so hot and greasy that if you picked it up to eat, it fell apart as grease actually dripped into the basket and covered your hand - could only be eaten with a fork after disintegrating into small pieces. However, the fries were good and clearly the best food on the table. Finally, the worst was the bangers and mash because the dish arrived at the table at room temperature, a temp at which sausages should not be served. Cold sausage is not appetizing and becomes somewhat gelatinous - was just unappetizing. While I realize that food can be sent back, diners should not have to do that - is the responsibility of the kitchen and the servers to ensure that diners are served dishes that are prepared ready and edible. However, I will say that when the temp issue was discussed with the server, the server made the issue right on the ticket. Regardless, all in all, that first visit also became a last visit. I suppose that if I were going to drink and watch British football, which oddly was called soccer in the restaurant, fun times could be had, but a fun and adventurous dining experience was not to be had by this diner. We also could not figure out why the music being played was 1970s and ‘80s metal and rock. Just seemed odd. Maybe because...

So we have lots of complaints: We went on a Monday night at 630pm....it was DEAD. Maybe 7 people in a room that could probably hold 120ish. Should have been a sign. Also, for a "London pub" the music was TERRIBLE! At least play music to match the theme of the place. So we went to order beer. We come from a town that gladly gives samples in order to be able to order the perfect beer. After the first sample (which we both hated the beer we sampled) the bar tender would not oblige in giving another sample, so we just had to order and hope for the best. Next, we ordered an appetizer. We got the "rusty nuts". Mashed potatoes with jalapeños, bacon, green onion and cheese. Not terrible, but lacking cheese in my opinion. Not the worst appetizer I've had, but def not the best. Dinner....EPIC FAIL. To start....when we ordered, our waitress was quite hesitant and had to check if they even had the food we ordered, stating "we are supposed to get a supply truck until tomorrow". Now, maybe I'm a bit jaded...but I live in the middle of nowhere ALASKA and have never been told this at a restaurant! She came back and said that they had what we ordered and all would be good. Well, it wasn’t - I ordered bangers and mash that was supposed to come with Yorkshire pudding. Nope. And when asked the response was "oh they didn't make it for tonight"! Ugh. And nothing was offered or compensated in place of that missing. My dinner was even worse! The old lady ordered the "cottage pie" (aka shepherds pie). Not even lying, I think this was frozen and microwaved to hot. The mashed potatoes were so nasty, spongy, and not real! We also ordered a side of smashed peas. Probably the best part of the meal. But really, can you screw up smashing cooked peas? Unfortunately the food and atmosphere were awful, and the poor waitress appeared to be conditioned to apologize for all the shortcomings. I felt bad for her, and it wasn't her fault. But this place is poorly managed and cutting corners. I feel like it could be a cool place if in the...

Very poor service. Waitress was not knowledgeable to be kind, didn't know much about menu, disassociated herself from the pub which was odd, was found literally crouching in a corner below the register around the corner from the tables, not once but twice - I know this bc she never came back after food was served and I had to look for someone for assistance. The third time when we caught her by chance and flagged her down for a refill, she only brought 2 and tried to scurry back to her corner. I asked her if the rest of us could have refills too before she went back to her phone. She got offended, told me I didn't need to speak to her that way, though I said nothing improper, foul, ugly, and was not harsh. I again stated, please, we'd really just like to get refills as well before you leave. Please. She finally obliged. As for the food...bangers and mash - excellent; shepards pie - not so good, it was a thin soup consistency not a gravy; fish and chips - fish was great, classic, can't go wrong; Dr. Pepper wings - delicious; ribeye - not very flavorful, they don't offer steak sauce of any kind which they don't tell you up front, and if you have our waitress and go to the trouble of getting up to go find her crouched in the corner on her phone to ask her for it, wait a long time while your ribeye grows cold, eventually go to hunt for it yourself only to find her there again at which point she states "Oh, I looked but they don't carry A-1" to which you reply, "well, what about any other steak sauce?" She states, ""no, I don't think they have any of any kind because they're a pub so they don't have that." But they do serve steak? And why is it "they?" Why not "we?" Doesn't she work there? What sense does that make? Anyway, that sums up the food and the service. I'd never go back to this location in Colleyville due to the service but I might try another location for the...
