My husband is experiencing severe back problems and our foundation is not helping. Today I took my son with me to the Matress Firm Colleyville to investigate options. Daniel assisted us. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy.

Initially we discussed just a foundation. Having had a tempurpedic bed for 20 years, Daniel suggested considering a new mattress, too. We looked at various options, including a traditional mattress. Daniel had a lot of insight and we spent an hour asking questions and getting various pricing options, including simply replacing the foundation and keeping our mattress.

After an hour, we left and returned home to discuss possibilities with me husband. About two hours later, we returned with my husband and Daniel again spent an hour with us, answering many questions, offering insightful knowledge and multiple pricing options.

Daniel had the opportunity to twice upsell me and another client. He didn't. He knew the value of listening to the client and selling the best product for the client.

During these processes, the other salesperson, Roy, helped other clients and was just as knowledgeable and helpful with several other clients. Another woman came for the sole purpose of purchasing a foundation. He never tried to offer mattresses, pillows, etc. because she specifically indicated interest only in a foundation.

We were so impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of these men. If I were looking to purchase more beds, I would give them my business every time. If you are seeking a bed - mattresses, foundation, etc. - I would encourage everyone to visit this location to pick the brains of Daniel and Roy. Skip the big box stores. They don't have the knowledge...

I walked in and said I just wanted to look around And didn’t need assistance, After I was ignored and the salesman kept following me, I explained that I was on a budget and I did not want to finance to bed. He told me he would work with me, And at first he let me try a mattress that was just a little bit out of my price range, After that, he was basically telling me to lay down on all these Few thousand dollar mattresses, And every time I said I can’t afford it, He said I can finance it, When I reminded him I didn’t want to finance it, He went into detail about the benefits of financing. This went on for about 30 minutes. What sucks for them, there was a mattress in my price range that I liked, and wanted to buy, But I did not want to buy from this greedy salesman who wouldn’t leave me alone.

So I went down the street to mattress central Where I met Corey, I said the same thing to her, that I just wanted to look around and I was on a budget not looking to finance, And she was totally cool with that gave a few recommendations And let me look around on my own. I found a bed I liked, That was already a better price than the one I liked at mattress firm, And to top it off, Corey applied the memorial day discount, even though The promotion had already ended.

Only go to mattress firm if you like greedy Salesman, And you’re willing to Deal with them trying to upsell you on everything, And If you can’t afford it, Then be prepared to get a lecture about how great...

The mattress and adjustable base purchase was fine and the employee making the sale was personable and seemed knowledgeable. I was told that both the old mattress and box would be removed on delivery of the new mattress and adjustable base. On delivery only the mattress was removed. I checked again with the store to be sure that I had not misinterpreted that service. I hadn't. Apparently this service was misrepresented at the sale and the box portion was left at my house for me to dispose.

I went to the store and talked to another of your agents, and was told that he would check with the warehouse and call back. Brent did that promptly, but again stipulated that they do not take the box portion of sleep number beds. Again, I was not informed of this at purchase. Had I known that, I would have gone elsewhere.

There are, according to Google, at least 91 stores in this area that carry the mattress and base I purchased and at no small cost. I used Mattress Firm due to the reputation and assurance that my needs would be met. That didn't happen. My recommendation would be to be very detail specific on what will be done at delivery so an informed decision...
