I was shopping for shoes this weekend and wandered into this store. I spent about 45 minutes attempting to find appropriate footwear and nothing fit. Understandable considering this is not their premiere store but a store they sell undesirables at. I tried putting on about 8 pairs of shoes, with no luck. During this time not a single sales person approached to help. I am not so thrilled with pricing either. Looking at the shoes and other items they were "marked down" 60% at times, yet remained high for what they were. I also saw parts of the store looked like what I would expect a retail store to look like, well ordered, neat in appearance. Other parts of the store however looked vacant, as in whole sections of the store were missing and bare floor space. Also, there were boxes of what appeared to be returned items haphazardly stacked in the middle of the store giving a second hand used store vibe. This part of the experience would have earned Neiman Marcus Last Call a two star rating, but what followed deserves zero stars.
While heading out fairly frustrated with my shopping experience my mask slipped below my nose. An associate came over and asked me to put my mask on "correctly" with the nose covered. I looked around and saw about half the people in the store either without masks or wearing them "improperly." I asked this associate for a copy of the Gov Abbot law and store policy regarding "proper" mask wearing. He answered by asking me to leave the store. Note, while this encounter happened he was NOT socially distancing. He was well withing arms reach of me. My fiancee and I left the store with this young man right behind us not socially distancing. If this young associate had made any kind of move to put his hands on me or my fiancee I would have defended us, and yes this associate gave the impression he was going to put his hands on us.
Never in America did I think this kind of thuggery would be tolerated. I've never been asked to leave nor escorted out of anywhere. Neiman Marcus be on notice! You don't need to worry about my return, I won't. I will take my business to customer...
Read moreI only give this five-star rating to Christopher from the shoe department. He is a passionate and genuine individual, highly responsible for his work. He shows great respect to customers, always going above and beyond to assist those in need. In summary, his service and attitude stand out among everyone. If you need to buy shoes, make sure to seek him out! I have recently purchased a total of 5 pairs of designer brand shoes here and brought my good friend along, who also bought 3 pairs of shoes.
Apart from Christopher, the service from others didn't make us feel comfortable.╮(╯_╰)╭
It wasn't too easy to get help when you need,I only see this one staff who would diligently and warmly assist a customer wearing a luxury brand, I waited until they both stop talking with each other then asked her a question politely but she doesn't even want to hear from me ,she interrupted my questions right away ,tell me to press a button to get someone else's help without any courtesy.
I also came across a staff member with no patience or friendly attitude. I asked if she could check for a size smaller. Without attempting, she promptly replied, "No other sizes; all shoes are displayed on the shelves." When I asked if she could find the corresponding shoebox for my shoes, her reluctance was evident. In the end, she gave me a severely damaged box of the same brand that can barely fit the shoes in. My friend asked this same lady for help in finding the matching shoes she wants, but there was no response even she waited for a long time.
As I finished paying everything I wanted and walked towards the exit with many pairs of shoes while holding my child's hand, suddenly an alarm went off. I was stopped by one staff, and all my purchases were opened and inspected. Eventually, they discovered that the staff forgot to undo the safety latch on the shoes. I felt very embarrassed, as it wasted my precious time, especially since my friends and child were waiting for me.

Read moreI am so offended! I attempted to conduct a normal transaction like any other customer but was treated differently. I laid my purchases on the check-out counter and the Caucasian cashier (Robert) looked at my items and the tag and called for the manager behind him (Lisa) they began whispering amongst each other and looking at the tag and Lisa walked off. I asked if everything was okay and if there was an issue with one of my items. Robert explains that the item was not 50% off although the item had a red tag on it he said it would be full price and that on the back of the tag it said November and that the store goes by dates when they mark items down. Robert then calls another associate to the counter and asked her about the date and she said the item was 50% off as it was clearly marked. I asked Robert why would he insist in telling me the item was full price and he turns back to Lisa. She comes over and explains that the item should not have been 50% off and I asked her what was being insinuated and why would they do that in front of a customer especially if it was a store error. The lady that Robert called over looked at me as he resumed checking me out and shook her head. I wonder if I was a Caucasian female would I have received the same treatment. I’m sure I would not have! It is so sad that although my money is green like everyone else’s money. In 2023 I was still treated differently or suspiciously looked at because I chose a sale item that was supposedly not supposed to be on sale. I know a Caucasian customer would Not have been treated in this manner. I guess the color of my skin raised suspicion!!! I’m still confused! I will be writing the general manager. No customer should be treated in this manner. If an item is marked and the ticket is untampered why is the customer held up or even told the item is not in sale? Out of all items in the store why did they choose me? Is this harassment? Please explain because I have several questions. What made my transaction suspicious? Why was I even told that the item was no...
