I’ve been rocking R.L. since 1988 and I’ve always considered their apparel high-quality however my shopping experience within the store was not matched. The sales associates on the floor are attentive and accommodating, but the young ladies in the check-out counter fall short when it comes to customer service experience. The fist time I check out the cashier made no eye contact, didn’t smile, or thank me for my business after the transaction. I called and spoke with the store manager about the lack of engagement at the checkout counter. If I’m paying $250 for a pair shorts and a hat I’d like someone to smile and ask me to comeback. Today I came in to make an exchange and this cashier provided limited engagement and once again failed to thank me for my business and please return. As a loyal customer, I’ve shopped here many times and always paid full price, made my purchases respectfully, and never caused any trouble. But I was treated with suspicion by the staff—again—as if I were doing something wrong simply for buying more than a few items.
They questioned me in front of other customers, gave me attitude, and made me feel completely unwelcome. I was even told to call customer service to “clear my name,” which is incredibly humiliating for someone who is just trying to shop like anyone else.
I felt targeted and disrespected. I strongly believe this treatment was based on assumptions about who I am, not what I actually did. No customer should be treated this way.
This experience left me hurt, angry, and embarrassed. I sincerely hope Ralph Lauren takes a closer look at how this location handles...

Be aware of miss T, she was trying to order me stuff online because store didn’t have my size, looked very frustrated that I didn’t wanted to order before I try it in person. She basically did nothing for me and still was trying to make me give her name when I check out so she can get the benefit of whatever that does. I wasn’t going to give her name because she was simply annoying the whole time I was near her but she came to the register to make sure her name gets points or credit.
