The West Wind — Local services in Grass Valley

This shop is one place I always drop by when I'm in Grass Valley. They have unique items from Corinthian Bells windchimes to herbal teas to minerals and jewelry. I love the obsidian wind chimes too - so unique!

I've always been interested in crystals, rocks and minerals. This shop has quite a selection of meteorites and the owner is quite knowledgeable about her stuff. If you have questions about the properties, she also has a book which describes which stone has certain attributes.

Great selection of moldavite - the green, glassy substance formed roughly 15 million years ago, give or take when a meteorite (or some fiery thing from space) hit the earth and formed these beautiful gems. She also has a jeweler that makes custom moldavite rings! I was very tempted by a beautiful ring that had two moldavite stones surrounding a Siberian amethyst.
