Updated - I did talk with customer service per the directions below, and they made everything right. I was assured that they would make sure this didn't happen to future customers and that's what is important, and exactly why these reviews help. Based on that, I changed this to 4 stars because I can't give four-and-a-half.
First - Derrik, the salesman, gets FIVE stars. He at least does all he can to make the customer happy. He's a good guy and the store itself gets five stars. This review reflects the transaction with the warehouse.
I bought a Purple mattress and opted to have it delivered as I live an hour away from Greeley. It was a two week wait but today was the day!
The delivery guys were great. They were professional and courteous. After they left, I noticed that the manufacturer's tag on the shipping bag showed the mattress was made eleven (11) months ago. I called Purple's customer service and they said they recommend that their mattresses stay rolled up from the factory no longer than 3 months, and 4 MAX.
That meant two things to me. One - that this needed to be returned. Two - that the Denver Mattress warehouse does not rotate their stock.
I called the Denver Mattress customer service number, and the guy told me I needed to take it up with the store I bought it from.
So, I loaded this nearly 200lb. log into my truck and drove an hour to Greeley. When I told Derrik why I was there, he immediately took me back to their small store room and found another identicle Purple mattress to the one I was returning. We looked at the date and it was within three months. He and his associate unloaded the old stock from my truck, loaded the new one in, and not one single hiccup with the process at all. Smooth as could be.
Why two stars then? Because I took time off work to be there for the delivery, and then had to take more time to drive it back to Greeley for the exchange, which is also money lost in fuel for that trip there and back.
Why did they have a mattress still in stock from almost a year ago? By the looks of the bag, it's been shuffled around alot. The one I got in the exchange was pristine, so I have to wonder what the heck was up with that.
Anyway, I've bought other furniture from this company without problems, and this may have been a fluke somehow, but if you buy something there, CHECK THE PRODUCT THEY DELIVER TO...

They have great service in all of their locations, but we primarily deal with the one here in Greeley. The store is small and not connected to a Furniture Row, but itās very clean and well kept. Denver Mattress hasnāt ever been the cheapest beds, even for entry-level beds like twins and whatnot, but their pricing is extremely fair, especially when you compare the quality for the asking price. Now it may be obvious to most, but we actually only recently found out that they make their own mattresses here in Denver (āDenver Mattressā...duh, right?). The sales rep was telling us about that, and how the prices are lower because theyāre factory direct, which makes sense. Weāve purchased multiple beds for ourselves as well as some for the guest rooms, and weāve been very happy with all of them. The most commendable thing for this location, though, is the service. You can tell that they care very much about the customer, and are very professional and fair in all of their business. You can tell they are very customer-oriented in their people vs. company policy ratio. They back their warranties and take care of them in the store, Iām first-hand witness. We had a bed that was 9 years old and sagging, and they replaced it for us with very little hassle! There have also been a time or two when we didnāt get exactly what we wanted when it came to swapping a mattress or another miscommunication, but the manager there was very kind and helpful, and gave us what I thought was a very fair compromise. I highly recommend shopping here, and the staff really care about helping you sleep better and be satisfied with your product. Oh, and make sure you buy their pillows!...
