update: 1-15-24 I will first say that the older salesman in the rental section was awesome. Other than that, the scaffolding I rented was for the inside of my house. $100 for the day. When we picked it up, it was covered in snow and ice. We had to lie it on the kitchen floor to thaw the pieces out. Once we wiped the pieces all down we set it up. The biggest problem was that once the scaffolding was set up and I was on top painting my ceiling, every time I grabbed the guard rail, pieces of the rusted paint would chip off of the rail and fall either to the ground or into my paint bucket. This happened all day long. To me this is just unacceptable. Please get competent, experienced staff in your stores!!!!! I asked a question about a tile cutter to which I was referred to a girl driving a forktruck to which she responded that they are in the hardware aisle. Nice job! They were right next to where I was standing, which was feet away from you. Time to move on to someone who has any knowledge (Bellevue). The next day I was at the Mason store and I waited and waited and waited to be told someone is coming twice. Someone shows up after 45 minutes to ask me If he could help me. I ask him if he has done tiling to which he tells me, " no, but what is your question?" Already pissed off, I ask him the question to which he says "I'll be right back". He leaves to ask someone else. Five frikin minutes later he returns to tell me to get a sanding stone. I ask him if they carry them, to which he again responds, "I'll be right back". At that point I decided it would be best for me to just walk out of the store. USELESS WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!

I ordered carpet in March. Was told a delivery install date about two weeks. The girl at the register(I cannot remember her name now it has been so long) scheduled everything wonderful. I got a call THE DAY BEFORE install advising the carpet had gotten damaged and LYNN the manager said about 1-2 weeks. I never heard from him and I had to call back at 2.5 weeks(giving time due to slow downs these days) to find out they never ordered it and had to wait another 4 weeks for more. Lynn, the manager said he was going to call me and update me…NEVER did!!! I had to call them back 3 more times to finally get my carpet in MAY!! The install company finally comes and does the carpet, my whole house mind you…over $7000 they have had for MONTHS!!! That’s not all… they do a horrible job where the seam at my master is a BIG gap holes in my daughters closet space, they even put the doors on wrong and my wife slammed her finger in it!!! Not to mention the pictures(see for yourself) that they threw the stuff on the ground outside and even had a cooler of beer in the van with a can open near it!!! After this tragedy where I took off work to make sure they could finally get this done I have to wait longer…. Here I am now 8/19/21 after many calls back to LYNN finding out they are still waiting on carpet to come Fix the mess they made!!!! Avoid carpet install from here at all costs!!!! They lie, never call you back and hold your money FOREVER!!!

There is no question about the fact that the issue showed up a few weeks after install. I don't know what happened to it.Ā  Nobody in my family knows what happened to it.Ā  I can tell you this.Ā  I've never seen carpet do that before.Ā  Ā Not even the 15 year old carpet we just had replaced to have carpeting sold to us by Home Depot and made by Mohawk.Ā  I'm 53 years old and I always had carpeting in my house.Ā  Ā I travel for a living.Ā  I never seen any disgusting hotel carpet to that. Who would ever thought that you go into your local Home Depot to purchase carpeting and installation,Ā  that your are going to wind up being screwed by them because you have been sold some poorly made carpet!

Only giving a 1 star because 0 isn’t an option

Recently purchased prefabricated cabinets after consulting with Peggy the cabinet expert at Green Bay West’s Home Depot. After waiting several weeks to consult with her I was excited as a first time home buyer to renovate my kitchen with some nice quality cabinets at an affordable rate. We had multiple meetings about what I wanted where I let her know what I was looking for. From there I was relying on her expertise to guide me through this process. A month later my prefabricated (Not custom) cabinets are ready for pickup. I picked them up got them home and cut the first top cabinet open to see what they looked like. My initial thought ā€œwow this looks hugeā€. I have a tiny 1br 1ba home. We ordered the 36ā€ cabinets for the uppers and to my dismay when I received them I realized the space below the bottom of the cabinet to the countertop nearly vanished. The standard in homes is 18ā€-19.5ā€ and I was left with 14ā€ at best. If you find humor in this Peggy stated in our earlier meeting ā€œyou’ll really hate me if you don’t have enough space between your kitchen cabinets and counter topā€ I had provided Peggy a measurement that to her knowledge would’ve indicated the 14ā€ space - aka if we ordered the 36ā€ cabinets like we did I’d hate her. In an already small home this was terrifying. I called and spoke to a manger (Heather) whom said we could return them for 30ā€ cabinets and after much more run around and issues experienced I am now left with the 36ā€ cabinets and no alternative or remediation. The return policy says 90 days - I have unopened cabinets that are not useful to me and not custom made to my house that I cannot return. On top of this issue the design expert suggested a sink base cabinet with a drawer underneath that wasn’t suitable for anyone’s kitchen as the drawer prevents the sink from sitting in the base. I received a defective 15ā€ base cabinet and paid for additional toe kick that was not given in my order. I paid for filler boards that were not needed and likely will have an issue trying to return those as well. I have received nothing but disrespect and conflicting messages from management depending on who I was communicating with. Long story short, do not trust the experts that are in stores as it is evident they are just money hunger mongers that pray on people for a dollar. I will never spend another dollar at Home Depot. I will never allow any of my friends or family to spend another dollar at Home Depot. I too urge you to be aware of what you are getting into when you rely on the expertise of a professional for a project in your home as I now have $700 paper weights in my garage that aren’t even opened out of the box but are ā€œnon-returnableā€. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and care for their customers that was experienced at...

I am torn in writing this review. The initial visit to Home Depot to purchase a range and refrigerator went great. Nathan did a superb job of pointing out features on each appliance and then looked up the reviews on each to give us peace of mind. The appliances were on sale with 40% off which sold us on them very quickly. So we made the purchase and scheduled a delivery date (13 days later). So now, the delivery date has arrived. On that day we were quite surprised to find out that the men delivering the appliances did not work for Home Depot (subcontracted). All three spoke Spanish with one that spoke broken English and we could not understand him one bit. They proceeded to put the refrigerator in place, but initially were not going to hook up the water for the icemaker. Then they removed some of the plastic and tape covering the unit. Note that I said "some". For the remainder of the day, my wife and I were removing the remaining tape and plastic. Then when they brought the range in the house, they discovered that they did not have the proper power cord (even though I paid for it). So they dropped the range in the middle of the kitchen and said I would have to arrange for another visit. I headed to my local Home Depot where I picked up the power cord and requested another visit by the installers. The soonest they could schedule another visit was 5 days later with a 4 hour window. I really like shopping at Home Depot but they really need to bring their delivery service in-house. This will definitely make me think twice about purchasing any type of appliance from them in the future or recommending them to my friends and family. Thus the reason for this review. Very...
