Five stars are not enough to rate Sound World in Green Bay. No number of stars or words can adequately state how over-the-top pleased I was with my entire experience with Sound World in Green Bay. The owner and his staff provided the absolute BEST buying experience. The level of knowledge, skill, expertise (that they gladly share!), and courteous, patient, customer service truly is not matched anywhere. I like that no one pressures you to buy more than you want or you need. They sell the best quality brands at really competitive prices. They keep good records. I wanted a compatible receiver to enable me to continue to use my home sound system, and they actually had a record of what I bought from them 25 years ago! You can walk in to Sound World with a general idea of what you need, and by the time you leave your electronic needs will be met in the best possible way. They remember your name, and greet you by name and with a smile when you walk through the door. I called countless number of times for technical help that they always provided without even a hint of "oh no look who is calling AGAIN." I am so tired of going to a "big box" store and getting incorrect information about the products that they are selling. I bought a TV elsewhere (NEVER again) and spent HOURS talking to technical support only to be told that the problem was on my end. I took the TV back and bought a better one at Sound World for the same amount of money. The thing I like about Sound World is that you can be totally lacking in technical ability, but when you buy at Sound World, they have staff for a reasonable amount of money who can connect everything AND give you a lesson in how to work everything. I like so many things about Sound World that listing everything would be impossible, but at the top of my list is the way that you are treated. You feel as if you are developing a relationship with Sound World and the people who work there as opposed to dashing into a national chain store where you are a person waiting in line.    Read moreThese guys are amazing!!! Experienced, professional, and empathetic!!! I earlier today had a bad experience at one of their competitors. I had scheduled an appointment with a competitor to get my car speakers replaced. I had scheduled the appointment after waiting two weeks for a Saturday appointment. They said it would take two hours. I come back about 30 minutes before it is supposed to be completed and they hadn't even started installing the speakers. They said they had been busy, which was true, but then why did I schedule appointment? Anyway, I told them I had to leave for an errand and saw Sound World. Seeing as how busy the other place was I figured I would just schedule an appointment for a different week at Sound World. I told them what happened and they were very understanding. They also seemed very knowledgeable and knew what speakers I needed. They were busy too, but after hearing my plight they said they would work me in instead of making me wait another couple of weeks. They got right to it and installed my speakers the same day and they sound great!!! It ended up being a little more expensive, but well worth it. I highly recommend these guys over other area...
   Read moreI went on April 2nd,2019 to return an equalizer for car audio they asked what was wrong with it and I said nothing I just need to return it because my subwoofers didn't work so the guy walked into the back then came back and he first told me that they didn't have cash that they had to give me a check or in store and I said well a check I guess then I said to put it in my name cause my husband didn't have his stuff with then the guy leaves and another one comes to the desk and said I actually need for this person to come in to return the money and I was like really he is in our truck with our 3 year old and he's like you can't trade spots and I was like well I came in cause my husband's English isn't really good and he's like I can't give you it so I grabbed the damn equalizer and walked out to my truck told my husband to go in because they were being a bunch of penjados so my husband went in and within 5 minutes was back out and magically had money in his hand after they told me they couldn't give us cash. if this is a policy to return stuff it should be posted somewhere in the store, on website everywhere but it wasn't. never will I go back to this...
