I had recently received a necklace and a pair of earrings for my 50th birthday that I wanted to exchange for something more my style. I read the return policy online which had stated you could exchange without receipt as long as you show identification. I came to the store with the jewelry in original boxes and tags and my identification and was told I could not return them by two ladies back in the return/exchange department. One was complaining to another lady about how many hours she had for the week as the other was worried about if she would get a bathroom break before the other would go on break. I continued to explain I didn’t want money back, only to EXCHANGE for something I would wear. They insisted on calling the manager which I was completely fine with. He came and immediately agreed to give me an in store credit for whatever the lowest price it rang in for. After he left the lady was having problems getting the card to load on machine in front of me for credit as it was kind of far from her. I kindly tried to move it closer to her and she said “no leave that there I can get it”. I have no idea if I was treated the way I was because of who I am or if they were having a bad day, but I have been in management for years and I have never written a bad review and would never want any of my customers to feel as uncomfortable as I did. Read moreWent in on Sunday to return an item. I came in and some lady working at the cash register was rude as hell. Not even a foot out the door and she said you need to go to the back to return that item. I said okay, where in the back is it? She just kept saying, all the way in the back. Just go all the way to the back. It would have taken three seconds to just say, it’s located in the back of the building. You will hit a wall, you can either go right or left. You will find it by blank and blank. Instead she kept saying all the way in the back. By the time I actually found where I needed to go, I was already pissed off. The two ladies in the back were like, at least you found it. Shove off. This location has some of the rudest employees I have ever met! I was going to buy some items, but after that experience I just wanted to leave. I also agree with what the other people are saying about hours. It is absolutely ridiculous to only be open 11am-7pm. If you work none traditional hours, which most people around here do, because of all the hospitals in the area. You really can’t shop here at all. There’s been multiple times I had to rush to Ann Arbor to buy things before they close. Before you jump on and say, there’s always online. Yes, there is always online. However, trying things on and buying them at the store is a lot different then buying them online and then having to return them. Read more04/29/2024 I was disappointed over hearing a couple of retail sales people talking about someone that had applied for a job there. And I believe she was in for her second interview. One person seemed to like her, but the other seemed a little jealous because the girl she felt was bragging about being able to sign language, and stated she would draw customers in to the rewards program. Myself, I thought it all sounded good! But it sounded like it came down to them not hiring her because of jealousy. Also they were talking about how they don't really check for rewards when they run the register because they feel you get it yourself in your e-mail. Then when I went to pay for my things, the lady at the register said she checked to see if I had any rewards and she said I didn't. I showed her on my phone it says I had 2 of them, which I was right. Added up to $20.00 off. Very disappointed they lie about it or don't even really check, I suppose. Then I went back to return the clothing I had bought and the lady at the returns tells me she can get me a larger size without even asking me why I was returning them!!!
