What a wonderful experience I had tonight! I called to make an appointment and Lisa was super happy and excited for me when I told her my story of why I wanted to come in. I arrived a few minutes early and Marie was happy to see me and took me back to a fitting room where they had pre selected a number of pieces for me to try. A number of them I would have never chosen myself but, I tried everything on. I found SO much that I absolutely LOVE and it is getting me a little out of my traditional comfort zone. Marie was super helpful the entire time and was so positive and made me feel SO good about myself. We shared some personal stories and I was beyond impressed with her service! She assisted me in taking my purchases to my vehicle and I was so grateful to her for helping and listening to me. This was even 30 minutes past the closing time. I’ve always received excellent service at White House Black Market with the exception of this store. I came in to pick up a pair of pants that I had purchased online. An older stuffy lady dressed to the nines working behind the counter gave me the impression that I was a bother in the store. I was left with a very cold-shouldered Pretty Woman-Julia Roberts in Beverly Hills feeling despite the fact that this woman was working in a strip mall in the middle of Michigan on a Sunday afternoon.
