Seriously deficient from what I was used to before Covid. On Christmas Eve I got a notification from Techbargains.com saying that Chipolte was running a BOGO (buy one get one free) promotion on all their gift cards for $40 or more. I tried calling their corporate office but I an greeted by a virtual assistant which goes on endlessly in a loop and does not allows you to leave a voicemail.
Today I went to this store and inquired if they knew about the BOGO offer and the manager on duty flatly said they DO NOT honor it. I was hungry and since I had the gift card printout I decided to try a Chicken Bowl, I ordered one to go. On reaching home I found that there was barely any meat in the bowl and the tiny pieces of chicken were so terribly burnt, it was as if I got the leftover ashes from a Burnt Offering.
I then tried to connect to the website they have on the cashier receipt to submit a feedback (Chipoltefeedback.com), but here again I am getting errors and the website for chipoltefeedback.com says "Unable to create SSL connection". I tried using Firefox browser and the site it connects to says
"Need an enterprise-grade solution? Gain insights from customers, employees, and your market—securely and at scale. Manage multiple users and gain visibility into all survey data collected across your organization Ensure confidential data is protected with enhanced security including encryption, SSO, and more Automate feedback and connect it to key business systems using APIs and powerful integrations "
Chipolte is in a very bad way. Charging customers for stuff they didnt order, burnt food, running promotions using deceptive marketing, poorly designed and malfunctioning websites and no ways for customers to contact them to give feedback.
I wish to cancel my gift card and get a full refund of my money, as this company is a sad joke. Update Jan 8, 2022 They finally contacted me via email to say that they don't do refund on Gift Cards purchase. So why did they run a BOGO promotion when they fully well had decided that none of their stores will honor it? So if anyone wants to pay $10 for a meal which is 5% meat, 70% rice and 25% just toppings (chopped veggies) And then automatically gets charged for $1.50 for a special sauce that you didn't order, then Chipotle is just your place.
Padding the bill by charging customers for items they didn't order is ILLEGAL BTW!
But if that's all you are interested in by fattening your bottom line by any means necessary, then you need to change your...
Read moreCan you guys learn to pack utensils for people WHO ORDER ONLINE OR DOORDASH. Like now I can’t even eat my food because I wasn’t packed any forks or spoons or napkins.. I’m on a short lunch break and now have to rush to the nearest store in hopes they have utensils . This is NOT the first time you guys pack absolutely nothing for an online shopper. SMH. So annoyed I don’t even want to eat your food anymore. It’s not hard to pack Utensils and napkins. The basic necessities for an online order. Smh. Very upset. Will not be ordering from this chipotle again on lunch.
That review was 3 MONTHS AGO ^ and I tried making another bad review and it isn’t letting me. Here I am once again trying to give you guys another chance (around 11-:45AM-12:10PM) because it’s literally the only one by my job UNFORTUNATELY. You guys have several people here. And ONE PERSON doing the orders ? 10 people in line (most of all were probably on lunch for work in uniform) and she has. Stank face stank attitude just everything was horrible. After finally getting my order in - as a coworker is trying to come help the line someone ELSE comes to disturb her helping and starts talking in creole for 3MINS and THAT DISTRACTS THE WORKER FROM FINISHING MY BOWL/ORDER . And after that lady spoke to her the employees face completely changed; she had a smile to come help and then got discouraged right after that lady spoke to her - you could tell. — literally ridiculous. 50 heads and 1 person doing everything at that with the nastiest attitude. I go to order a kids quesadilla and your ONE worker at the time acted like she’s never heard that order before. Gave me a giant ass tortilla and separated EVERYTHING; is it not suppose to be a MADE QUESDILLA WITH SIDES? like sis did not know her own menu seriously. GO TO ANY OTHER...
Read moreThis experience at the Forest Hill location was truly disappointing. The lack of customer service and small portion sizes forced me to seek out another location for my meal within just an hour. It was clear that I needed better service and a more satisfying experience.
To my dismay, even the manager at Forest Hill proved to be of no assistance. Their indifference towards my concerns only added to my frustration. But what truly baffled me was the peculiar color of their sauce. A white base color in a vinaigrette? It seemed completely out of place. When I questioned this, they simply brushed it off, saying it was fine with a casual "BRO." Their nonchalant attitude left me even more dissatisfied.
In an attempt to express my disappointment, I took to social media, posting pictures from both the Forest Hill location and the alternative one I visited. I wanted others to see the stark contrast in quality and service. Additionally, Emilio Rodriguez, an employee at the Forest Hill location, took responsibility for the subpar experience, even stating that if I wanted a remake, I would receive the same unsatisfactory portion size. This only solidified my decision to never visit this location again.
Regrettably, I ended up spending a hefty $70 on food just to confirm that my dissatisfaction was not unfounded. Thankfully, choosing to go to the other location turned out to be the best decision I made that day. It was a lesson learned, reminding me to trust my instincts and opt for a more reliable establishment.
In conclusion, the Forest Hill location's abysmal customer service, inadequate portion sizes, and peculiar sauce color left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. From now on, I will make sure to avoid this location and stick to the one that provided me with a much more enjoyable...
