B Beautiful Dominican Salon — Local services in Greensboro

A+ Excelente Servicio !!!!!! This salon will be my #1 go to when coming to town to visit family as I reside in Atlanta. I had searched other Dominican Hair salons in the Greensboro / Winston-Salem area but this one stood out the most given the positive reviews and follow up response from owner and especially the convenient online appointment system set up. I visited this salon on Saturday 8/21 with an appointment scheduled for 3:30pm for a wash + set + deep conditioner. Upon arrival I had to wait about 15-20 minutes as the owner was finishing up another client, which can be expected and was not a problem for me given my personal experience with Dominican Hair Salons.

But to be specific as the owner is the only stylist for her business, please note that she is an AMAZING ONE WOMAN show. She was very personable, patient, professional, and attentive to detail with not only me but her current clients that were there before me and those that showed up for scheduled appointments afterwards. Given I scheduled a wash + set there was a confusion on my part and I had the expectation that I would be styled following the removal of the rollers as I am accustomed to this with my current Dominican stylist in Atlanta. I now know going forward for next time I visit to choose the Dominican blowout since there is a difference in services where hair is not styled by stylist following removal of roller set, but rather by the patron themselves when leaving salon.

However, the owner was very understanding and accommodating and went ahead and styled my hair based on my preference. Even though, the owner had another client (a young child) that was waiting based on a scheduled appointment, the owner worked fast but still with an attention to detail and quality of work that my hair style came out looking great, more than I expected given this is my first time trying this salon and coming from out of state.

Please note that free parking is behind the building where salon is located, adjacent to the gas station that’s located right by the building. The salon is very clean and inviting. There is also a noted price list in case there are other services of interest. Products used are of good quality and smell good too. 😊 Hands down the best stylist in Greensboro!!!!

Came for a trim and protein hair treatment, 2nd visit since my last hair appt, late last year

Love my 1st experience with Bethania so decided to come back before I headed to tropical Singapore to surprise my family with my 1st pregnancy

Made an appointment for 2:15pm and man was she swamped when I got there in time. Thought my appointment would be honored and was willing to wait thinking she was about to finish up in 10-15mins? Wrong!

When I first got there, her assistant who barely spoke English, just motioned for me to get my hair washed (which I assumed was what Beth told her to do as part of my package)

• I actually washed my hair previous night but wasn’t asked so thought it was part of the package *

Was put on protein treatment and had heat rollers to dry hair. That felt like forever so I had to Google translate saying I was pregnant and I felt uncomfortable so please stop machine.

When it was all done, was seated nearer to Beth and I thought finally my turn to get hair trimmed—wrong, again! Girl she was working on was having her fro straightened/blown out and when she was done, suddenly asked to have her hair cut in layers too which Beth sadly obliged. Still thinking I was about to be next up for trim, another lady was seated and though Beth requested if she could do my hair first, that lady declined(probably waited too long herself!) I waited till 4:50pm till I had enough. I had elsewhere to be and had things to get done. I went up to counter to pay for services rendered after spending close to 2hr 45min

What was the point in setting up an appointment then?

Update : My hair texture looks and feels bad after this so called Protein treatment. My husband was shocked at the total cost ($45: 20 for pre wash & 25 for treatment) and MAINLY the result and frankly so was I that I actually cried in the car!! Very...

Not even the type to do this but I went here the other day, had an appointment set for 10:30. Got in , everything was smooth but I think they may have had too many clients booked that day? Because i had to wait about 20 minutes for another client just for them to blow dry HALF of my hair afterwards and AGAIN have me wait for them to finish somebody. They asked me if I had to be somewhere I said I did at 2 o clock.They were not finished until 2:30!! I missed my class that day but you know what that’s not even the main reason I’m mad. I am a very compassionate person and I understand things happen. My problem is that they didn’t even attempt to compensate me not even a little bit, just kept apologizing. I feel like I could’ve gotten just a little bit of a discount, the website said I would be done around 12:30 and I wasn’t done until two hours after. My hair looks great though!! Lol I’ll let you guys have that one but I was very dissatisfied in the way you guys handled the situation, but I’m to sweet of a person to have said something on that moment. I won’t be back but I hope you guys continue doing great hair, my hair was amazing! Thank you!

To reply to the salon: I appreciate your 50% offer but I did indeed have an appointment lol maybe you got your clients confused but my appointment was for 1030 and that’s the time I showed up. If I was a walk in,I wouldn’t have even complained...
