WORST experience at a clinic I have ever had. I left in tears. I have called multiple times and left messages for the manager and no one can seem to answer or return my phone call. I guess I’ll be showing up in person to resolve the issue, but a Google review will suffice for the time being.
I came in with my toddler for an ear infection because he started showing symptoms after his pediatricians office closed. I checked in on the kiosk they have placed at the front door and then asked the front desk worker, Betty Jean, if there was anything needed from me. She told me that she didn’t, but that I needed to put a mask on my son who is not even 2 years old yet. I respectfully declined. I then sat down and waited with my toddler and my mom joined us. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I got up and asked Betty Jean AGAIN if she needed any paperwork or my insurance card. She stated again that she didn’t and that my son shouldn’t need anything to be filled out. I thought this was quite odd, but being that I had already asked twice I figured everything was ok. She then continued to tell me that I was not allowed to go back with my son because “I wasn’t with them”. “Them” being my mom and son. I, a grown woman, stood there confused because 2 times I had already told this woman that he was my son and yet she assumed I was his sister. I respectfully corrected her and sat back in my seat. Another hour and a half passed and I noticed people who came in after us were now being seen. I then, for the THIRD time, asked Betty Jean why she didn’t need my insurance card or any paperwork. She looked at me confused and said that I DID, in fact, need to provide both. It turns out that Betty Jean NEVER checked us in. She assumed that we were another patient and that she had everything she needed from us though I asked her three times prior. She then tried to lie and say that I never asked her, but stood corrected when I asked her if she remembered calling me my sons sister. She then proceeded to check us in at 7pm and then told me that they didn’t accept my sons insurance. Mind you, had I known that they didn’t accept his insurance by the time we walked inside, I wouldn’t have waited. We had to pay $100 out of pocket AND THEN another $24 after the visit. I cried the entire rest of the visit because I had just sat there for 2 hours with a sick and fussy toddler. Being blatantly ignored and stigmatized the entire time. This is all a very shortened summary and details left out.
All of this to say, DO NOT go here if you do not want to be treated with respect. No one has the decency to answer my phone calls or return them. Betty Jean should be reprimanded in some capacity for the blatant disrespect that she...
Read moreMy daughter and I went here to get assistance from the doctor because we were experiencing severe stomach pain. When we got there, the elder blonde haired lady at the front desk told us that we had to pay a debt of $84.97!? Thank goodness that my daughter and I found out that there was another name on the bill! Basically the elder lady almost made me pay for SOMEONE ELSE’S bill?!?! Then she told us again that we had a debt of $15 that we hadn’t payed yet, or we couldn’t see the doctor. How can we trust her that easily again if she tried to make us pay for SOMEONE ELSE’S bill?! I explained to her that I usually would pay the debt when my Blue Cross Blue Shield statement came in, and I told her that I will pay the debt once I got my statement from my insurance. BUT, instead of listening to what I was saying, she kept on pressing me that I HAD to pay the bill right now, or I couldn’t see the doctor?!? To be honest this was the first time I have experienced this, I have been going to this walk in clinic for over 5 years already! Now they wouldn’t attend me and my daughter just because I had a debt of $15! Come on, I’ve been going here for a long time and now they instantly decided that debts are more important than a patient’s health! I mean what kind of clinic have they became now! That money is more important than a human life?! Seriously?!?! After this situation we decided to go with their competition, and guess what? They treated us better than the Eagle’s! Now these days the Eagle’s have been becoming worse and worse with their money situation! If you had a debt of $2 with them, they wouldn’t let you see the doctor, then again seriously?!?! Right now if Google had a 0 star option, I will put it because those guys actually deserve it. I mean even giving them a 1 star is a bit to much for them, they have given me the worse experience that I could ever have!! I am fully disappointed in them, and they finally dropped the bomb here!?!? Eagle’s…you...
Read moreI had a cold and went to the walk-in clinic on New Garden Rd., apparently my Blood pressure was elevated -significantly. However when the Doctor came and examined me , he prescribed “magic mouthwash”, a nasal spray and Protozone(which can increase blood pressure).... and sent me home with no mention of my blood pressure. I assumed he knew best. However, the next day I continued to feel awful, and an increase of symptoms related to blood pressure was noted. I was re-examined by a nurse (at my work-place)and my blood pressure was Still very elevated. I returned to Eagle and then -even though my blood pressure was slightly lower than the previous day, the Dr. then was calling an ambulance!-which I Protested! She also made such a big deal and proceeded to take my phone for me to calm down( I was not hysterical or anything ... but she was really scaring me).... so I was unable to communicate with my husband to explain what was happening and to arrange childcare. As a result.... I ended up having another adult take me to the ER- because she made such a BIG deal, In which I spent another two hours waiting to even be seen... although the dr at Eagle was going to call an ambulance. Needless to say, I was simply prescribed a blood pressure medication at the ER( which Eagle should have been able to do with an additional follow up) and sent on my way home . So NOW I have almost a 1,6k bill from the ER. It is a shame that I trusted this walk-in clinic ... and even more so that I went back after the second day. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I have chosen a primary care physician from another practice who actually cares about the welfare of...
