UPDATED: Below is a current more experienced opinion of the team at Lane & Associates. Below that I will leave my earlier impression of this team. For Historical Perspective? lol

In the past, I’ve had many different dentists at a variety of different offices as I’ve ended up moving around a lot in life. As a young adult I’d found a good dentist that I trusted however since leaving the West Coast many years ago now, none of the subsequent dentists I saw had instilled confidence in me. It had gotten to the point that I eventually actually developed a bit of phobia of dentists, (Dentophobia I believe??) that is until I found the team at the Greensboro location of Lane & associates. I have seen a few different dentists within this location but specifically I HAVE to THANK Dr. Mack. It was Dr. Mack that took the time when I was hurting waaaayyyy beyond reason to to find the elusive issue and Fix (a.k.a. save) me. I have never had a bad interaction with a single person here I haven’t even had a Meh-interaction. Every One of these people has been a Pleasure and a Joy to interact with every time. Who, or Where else can say that?! On my most recent visit I had the great pleasure of interacting with Cheyenne for all of my visit prep and x-rays. She was a lot of fun to talk to and I hope to see her again next time. After that, I had a cleaning with Shannon who I’ve had the actual pleasure of performing my cleaning the last time I was there as well. Although it’s been a while longer than normal since my last visit it’s really nice & somewhat comforting even that I get to see familiar faces when I visit. Shannon is consistently positive, professional, informative, and a joy to see … much like well… just about everyone there. I may not always enjoy -WHY- I am there, but the people and the service have caused me to really appreciate the experience. I feel very fortunate to have found this incredible team.

Started coming here because of a change in insurance. Have only been here a few times but will not be coming back. Here are some of the issues I ran into.

On my first visit, they took x-rays and then realized the x-ray machine wasn't talking to the computer so they needed to take x-rays again. I refused, not going to be subject to more radiation because they can't get their act together. Also, while troubleshooting the problem they opened up other patients files on the computer in plain sight of me, my HIPAA senses were going crazy!!

On another visit they forgot about me after the hygienist saw me while waiting for the dentist to come in, after blowing through my lunch break I finally had to get up out of the chair and go to the front desk to flag down someone to finish my cleaning.

Today I had an 11:30 appointment that I was there early for. From what I understand there was a power outage affecting part of the building so they had less places to work than normal. Someone came in after me who was also scheduled for an 11:30 appointment but when 11:30 came around they called them back, I was going to have to wait.

This lack of respect for people's time is the primary reason I'm going to find another dentist in the area, or possibly go back to my old insurance so I can go back to my old dentist.

The one good thing I would say about Lane & Associates is that I did like the dental hygienist I had the last couple times, she was efficient, nice and did a great job. However, I have to base my decision to leave on more than just a single person's...

Lane & Associates, Friendly location in Greensboro, NC has served my family for at LEAST 11 years. I've NEVER had a bad experience. It's very easy to schedule your needs. They keep you updated on your appointments. The building is ALWAYS clean and smells good (fresh). Restrooms are accommodating, always clean and fully stocked. However, the reason I am loyal is because of the staff. From being greeted as I enter by Karen and Brianna at the front desk, to Chy's attentiveness and cleanliness when giving me my x-ray, to Maria (hygienist) and Dr. Macky. Those are to name just a few. I have ALWAYS felt welcome. Me and my family of 5 drive from another city for this Family Dental office. We started coming when my daughter became old enough to have dental visits. I wanted my whole family to be at the same practice. They were amazing with my daughter back then and now at the age of 14 they are still just as amazing with her. Lane & Associates looks out for the patients best interest and not just trying to get as much money from you. Every treatment plan, procedures or just routine visits has been beneficial to our well being and quality of life. Lane & Associates (Friendly, GBO) are professional, ethical but most of all warm & inviting. As long as they keep the same standard of business and family-like atmosphere we will continue to come.

I HIGHLY recommend Lane & Associates (Freindly) for any of your dental needs. ESPECAILLY if you have a family.
