An update:
As the office manager has stated, clearly, after getting absolutely awful customer service from the two women working at the front desk there, who either could not or would not answer simple questions, I then called back and spoke with her. I was not calling for myself, obviously. I was simply calling for a good friend of over 20 years who is in severe pain. And when asking normal, seemingly generalized questions, neither of the ladies at the front desk would answer or could answer. I'm not sure which one and it doesn't really matter because, there was no clear communication at all. One simply handed the phone off to another one without ever asking to put me on hold, or even acknowledging my questions. It was beyond rude and unprofessional as I've stated. The second young lady was as unprofessional if not more so because she hung up on me. I was simply asking why is it called Urgent Tooth if there is not availability for an urgent matter. It wasn't sarcastic, it was a genuine question. And that should be okay no matter where you call. No matter what the office manager says. That's a fact. If people are not familiar with your business and they haven't been there and they are not a patient, to treat someone that way who has no knowledge of your business is simply unprofessional, bottom line. I did not cuss at anybody, I did not yell, and by the time I got to the office manager, of course, I was absolutely frustrated and irritated with the entire situation because it never needed to happen in the first place. I stand by my review and the office manager's response to my review simply reinforces it tenfold for me personally. But thank you for responding, in a completely unprofessional way. At least you responded. I'll give you that. Instead of looking inward at the office and what could have been different there, always blame your customer or potential patient, excuse me. Have a great day.
Worst customer service I have ever had in my life, almost. Both the young ladies at the front desk were completely unprofessional, rude, lacking knowledge of the office and almost anything involving it which was extremely shocking to me. Considering I generally almost always write great reviews, this is new for me. And to be honest I'm beyond shocked because they have such a high rating. Maybe it's a one-time experience? I don't know but completely unprofessional, and there's no accounting for the way both of the ladies at the front desk acted. In fact they were both, and I say this in the best way that somebody can say this, they were both extremely ignorant. I hate to use that word but it's accurate. Everybody that reads my reviews knows I'm very accurate and very brutally honest....
Read moreI could say so much but I will try to keep it brief. I've had 2 wisdom teeth that had been starting to bother me in the last 2 years. I probably should've had them extracted a long time ago, but the thought of that procedure worried me to the point of dealing with the on and off pain. However, it got to a point where they had to come out. And with the possibility of my other 2 wisdom teeth eventually causing me problems, due to how far back they are, I had to really consider getting them all out. I can promise you that I am one of those individuals who worries to a point that I lose sleep. I can tell you, hands down, that having all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted at Urgent Tooth (Greensboro) was the best decision I made. Starting from my first phone call with Kayla Davenport, the Treatment & Schedule Coordinator, who was able to get me an appointment within 1-2 days. Other offices I would've had to wait at least a week. She was also the first person I encountered today when I checked in for my appointment. The office was clean, comfortable and her welcoming demeanor made the start of the day pleasant. She was knowledgeable about who I was and what I was getting completed today. After that I was taken back for my prep with Ana Garcia, the Surgical Dental Assistant. Listen, i was nervous nonstop leading up to today, but Ana was great with going through how everything would go. She let me know step by step as to what was happening from the time I got there until the procedure was done. She answered any question I had and eased every concern I came in with. Finally, I met Dr. Colby L. Rowberry, who performed the procedure. His skill is beyond this world. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed under local anesthesia with nitrous but I am sure now, for my situation, the local would have been enough. From the numbing shot to the actual extraction, there was no pain involved. And he let me know that if at any point I felt anything, even if it was minor, that he would apply more medication as he wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable. I believe Dr. Colby L. Rowberry and his Surgical Dental Assistant, Ana, extracted my 4 wisdom teeth in less than 20 minutes. What I thought would be an unbearable experience, turned out to be way easier than I thought, only because of the staff at Urgent Tooth (Greensboro). I thank God for the staff at Urgent Tooth (Greensboro) and the skills he has blessed them with in the field of Dentistry. I 100% recommend Urgent Tooth...
Read moreA few days ago, I needed a tooth to be extracted since it was causing me much pain. I scheduled an appointment and they got me in fairly quickly. The assistant gathering my information had many difficulties in the beginning before we got started. She asked me if I wanted to use nitrous (laughing gas) that it would be an additional cost and I agreed to that verbally multiple times but never did I receive it during the procedure which was very odd and unprofessional. When the doctor came in he was very nice and friendly . He gave me some shots to numb the area and we waited until it kicked in to begin working. After I felt numb he proceeded to extract my tooth but I could still feel a lot of pain therefore he stopped and asked me if I’m okay and then gave me more shots to numb even more. Took about 30-45 mins and after I was done I thought maybe they would give me a paper to go by on what I should do to keep it from getting infected or how to heal properly but instead the assistant just told me I’m good to go and just verbally told me not to drink from a straw or smoke gave me a bag w some gauze and told me to keep switching to stop the bleeding. Most people I have spoken with either always got the nitrous when they asked for it or received stitches so the wound will close or heal faster and we’re gifted a cleaning kit with tools to keep the wound clean after eating .Also they prescribed me antibiotics and a ibuprofen for my pain which hours later when I go pick the medications up from the pharmacy, they said to me no prescriptions had been sent and it had been hours past my checkout. I called urgent tooth immediately to figure out what’s goin on and the same assistant told me that it was sent to double check. At this point I was annoyed and not satisfied with the unprofessional service this place was offering me. She sent me a link to fill out paperwork that I already filled out before I even arrived to the dental office , she said the prescription were never sent because they didn’t know if I was allergic to any medications which I told them and signed paperwork already saying that I wasn’t. I will not be coming back to this place again and I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to schedule...
