I want to add my experience with Schiffman's jewelry store in Greensboro, North Carolina (NC). Some reviews here are similar to what I endured. I genuinely believe, based on my in-store experience, that the employees at this store do not want to serve black people. They are hostile and hesitate to help us. They turn their backs on us, send their security after us for no reason, refuse to exchange pleasantries, and then swiftly move to help white customers instead of us, even though we were there first. They should be ashamed of themselves and the company for warehousing this store with so many racist individuals. Black folks, do not waste your time going to Schiffman’s jewelry store in Greensboro, NC, to acquire a Rolex watch because they will not sell it to us. Take your business elsewhere, and do not buy fine, luxury jewelry there either. I am an educated professional who contributes tremendously to our society's well-being. I went in to Schiffman's right before Christmas to have 2 rings cut off due to extreme swelling. Francis was one of the most compassionate and kind people I have ever met. While I was crying over having my wedding ring cut, she gently and delicately cut the rings and assured me that they would be back on my finger one day soon. I recently returned to have the rings repaired and resized, along with a few other minor jewelry repairs, and the sales associate I worked with was just as nice and friendly as Francis.I would highly recommend Schiffman's for any jewelry needs. My mother and I went downtown to shop the gift / chinaware sale. I called to get the business hours for the sale and they informed me they close at 4 pm on Saturday. We arrived at the store at 3:40 pm and the door was locked. We knocked, they looked at us turned their heads and kept shopping / helping other customers.
