I do most of my family's grocery shopping here. Not usually a lot of people here, like at Meijer where the lines are horrendous. Aldi has great prices- I can usually fill my cart and spend only 150-200, versus twice that amount or more at other stores. They don't carry everything, so sometimes I do need to stop somewhere else on the way home if it's a specialty item. The produce doesn't last very long, so keep this in mind. I usually will only purchase what I know we will need for that week. I have never once had a rude check out person- they really are all so nice. Great selection of specialty cheese and dips. Great selection of coffee and wine. Always bring your own shopping bags- they do not bag your groceries for you. Of course like all of the other stores produce prices have gone up. However I can still walk out with a bag of these items for under $25 including avocado, tomatoes, bananas, onions, 2 8ounce containers of baby bella mushrooms and a couple of other things.
Most things are cheaper here than anywhere else. However if you are looking for specialty flavors beyond basic vanilla etc it's really the luck of the draw.
