Great Place to find most of your basic grocery store needs at rock bottom prices They have foregone boxing and bagging, but let you do that ( bring your own if you don't want to buy bags ) they DO usually have some boxes to collect items together..... THE BEST PLACE IN TOWN TO FIND REASONABLE and and EXCELLENT SUPPLY OF GLUTEN FREE FOODS, DAIRY , GREEK YOGURT , BUTTER and CREAM CHEESE at unbeatable prices. THEIR SALAD DRESSINGS are good and good value too if you need some quick "store bought" , this is really amazing... so glad for ALDI . Some of their occasional Crofton specials like French enameled Cast iron pots are good value for the money, bushes in the spring ... (1/10 the price of Le Creuset and pretty good ). not all their specialty items are good value, you have to know products and cheap Chinese from value Lots of organic choices...the down side is that you have to eat the fresh vegs and fruits pretty fast within a day of two ... plan to buy for a certain meal , not to store for a week. The other Down side is they dont teach friendliness , so it is spotty. Also, plan your times right , often there is a line and there is a reason for that !!! great value place .... But be friendly and you will often engender that response !!!! My first Store for...
Read moreAldi is a grocery store that has low prices because they only employ a few staff. They have a lot of things to choose from in the grocery sections, but also have toiletries, and and aisle full of miscellaneous items from clothes to home goods to toys. Their cottage cheese is the only kind I like. They carry fresh produce and have nice meats and cheeses. Their eggs and milk are the lowest priced in town. They have clean restrooms. The employees are all super friendly. Bring a quarter for the cart (you get it back at the end unless you decide to pay it forward). The aisles can be a tad tight and they get busy, so keep that in mind if you have personal space issues like I do.
The parking is always wild, and that's because this particular location built the most lame parking lot I've ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if there's been a few accidents. That's neither here nor there, just an observation for anyone who hasn't visited this one before. Just be cautious about that...
Read moreMy husband and I like to shop at our local Greenville, TX Aldi's. Although it doesn't have some of the things on our list compared to our local big chain stores, it does have a lot of items we do prefer there. They have a nice selection of fresh veggies and fruits. We use their coffee creamers, coffee's, butter, yogurts and prefer their whole milk over Walmart's brand because time and time agian Walmart brand milk does not last to the through date. We also prefer a lot of their can food products, mostly canned veggies. I also like the different "seasonal" selections. For instance these planter baskets (I bought 2) I picked up this season. I could go on and on... Their pricing is great. If you're skeptical and are like me who prefers some "brand name" products, I recommend to at least take a walk-through and check it out for yourself. You might find products...
