If you have a NICU baby on a ventilator be prepared. If your child just has a Gtube or GJ, find another company- you’ll be better off (plenty of local will make it easy). You’ll never get straight answers, they are the only company with ventilators in the area. Find a DME company that can supply you with everything possible and order as little as possible from them. They cannot even file private insurance properly to get your letters of medical necessity filled. This is the worst company to work with and no one in the office knows anything. They will tell you how insurance won’t pay for things yet with another DME company makes it happen with more. My wife waited over 2 hours for a call back in the night for equipment and it took a total of 12 to get it completely replaced. We usually leave the company alone but expect when we do call which is rare unless it’s a huge problem for them to act swiftly. On top of that she tried to file a complaint and talked to the company, they promised to investigate. Not one person has followed up with her. Everything is a waste of time for them. It’s a hard place to be bc we have to use them but everything possible, we take away and let another company fill it. My wife has spent hours not only dealing with then but also having to make sure as much as possible with reference numbers etc..,were properly given to the new DME company. If you thought it was bad enough to come home with a ventilator baby, be prepared you’ll have a more than a headache trying to get SUPPLIES.
