I wish I could leave a good review for this dealership but all I can say is after they take your money they ignore your calls, gaslight you and sell you a messed up vehicle that they wonât even fix! I came to look at a vehicle I saw on their website I really liked. It was a pre owned black Hyundai sonata. a female sales advisor by the name of Jamie helped me. If you could do yourself a favor and DO NOT WORK WITH HER. Sheâs sketchy, dishonest and does not stand by her word. Not to mention completely unhelpful. At first I thought she was being helpful, let me explain. firstly, I was told to come in to get my car detailed because the people that detail the vehicle after you buy it left by the time the sale was done. The sale was done on December 14th I drove WELL OVER AN HOUR to get my car DETAILED. Only to wait 15 mins. The same sales advisor Jamie hands me my keys and tells me it was clean. I was highly disappointed. And expressed to her my concerns. The car still had my hair on the seat and had dirt on the floor, nothing detailed about it whatsoever. she then proceeded to take my car to some guy named Jose I have no idea where, she went came back and my car still was not detailed 10 minutes later.it was half assed at best and when they say detailing it was nowhere close to that. She didnât seem to care about how unsatisfied i was. She just gave me my keys and told me to have a good day. Secondly , I then received a call from her to check in on how I was doing after my purchase 3 weeks later so I nicely explained to her my vehicles check engine light had come on and if I could come in because I had just gotten this vehicle and I didnât want to have a problem after spending so much money. I also asked if she could send me the car fax I never received the day of purchase along with the services done to the vehicle prior to me purchasing. Never received it from her end, even after her telling me sheâd send it the following day. I then had to call the service department to have some random guy in that department send me my info on my car because Jamie ignored my calls after hearing I had come across an issue with my newly purchased vehicle. I felt robbed. I ended up taking my vehicle elsewhere to have it looked at since the dealership that had gotten my initial business no longer cared to help me after the sale of my car. Then shortly after I noticed the engine splash was dragging this was probably close to a month after purchase. I decided to take my car to a body shop to have them tell me from a professional standpoint whatâs going on. They then explain to me my engine splash is dragging because on the report i received almost a month after purchase after insisting for it. Anyways, the work order shows that the lower bumper was replaced prior to my purchase. Well they half assed that too! the engine shield was being held up by ZIPTIES. The lower bumper had bolts missing on BOTH ENDS and thatâs why it was dragging. So I had to have a third party shop tell me what was going on with my car. I once again contacted Greenville Nissan, spoke to the service manager Maurice. THOUGHT he was going to help me. Wrong. He also gave me the run around and told me they wouldnât fix it because of how much time had passed and that I mustâve done something to my vehicle. I didnât put zipties on my car thatâs forsure. He even took a video of the underneath of my car saying it was missing bolts. I then asked for what the underneath looked like prior to purchase because I didnât have the knowledge to climb under the vehicle and look. And there was no video no pictures no information on my vehicle showing how it looked after the repairs were made. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They will rob you. Greenville Nissan DOES NOT CARE about their customers or concerned about the service they provide clearly. Iâve now had 2 different places tell me my lower bumper was done completely wrong. Theyâll just gaslight you and tell you you did it. I hope this serves as a helpful review for someone interested in checking this...
Read moreI took my van in to get an oil change and tire rotation. I numbered the tires because the last few times I asked for my tires to be rotated, it didn't look like it was done. A day later after my appointment I remembered about the tires and checked them. They didn't get done. But nissan said that they did everything, they even sent me a long list of things that need done. I called to let them know that they NEVER rotated the tires. The service manager told me that they found that I need to replace my tires. I told the service manager that they are quick to try to add extra service things, but why should someone get anything at this place if they can't do a simple tire that they claim to have done. I also reminded him that not even a year i spent over $2000 on tires and other jobs there, so the tires i bought from them should be under warranty. The service manager apologized and said that he was going to talk to the person who handled my van and find something out about the warranty, so he would call me back first thing the next day. That call never came. So I called to speak with him and I was told that he was with a customer and that he promised to call me back in 15min. And again that call never came through my phone. Greenville Nissan I would NOT recommend anyone to buy a new or use car from. Management very shaddy. I bought a new and a use truck from them a few years ago. Everything was great until about 2 years ago. When they got new management. I had an issue with the blower on the van. The van had a 5 yr warranty when I first bought it, my issue should have been covered. They took the inside side panel off, to look at the blower. I was told that it was going to need a new blower and it was going to be about $1200 and that it wasn't covered under the warranty. Because it was something that I must have done. They also charged me a $320 fee for the diagnostic. I argued that it should be covered, but finally decided to pay the diagnostic fee. I came home and looked the problem on the internet. Took it apart myself and found a few pieces of paper and other debris. Cleaned it up with a vacuum and some water. The problem was fixed. No more loud humming noise. Didn't need a $1200 blower. I was out $320. Which I would have been happy to pay if they would had just cleaned up the trash that was stuck in the blower, when they opened it and saw it. But they wanted more money. I went back and talked to the service manager about the $320. And after one month they finally gave me my money back. What happened to honesty. When I bought my truck, we had agreed that the truck was going to have NEW tires as one of the deals for buying the truck. I had not driven the truck very often. I had put less than 7000 miles on it in the first year. I took it to Greenville Nissan for the yearly inspection and they told me that it didn't pass, because it needed new tires. The tires that were on it were rotted, so could blow at any time. I told them that when I bought the truck they were suppose to put brand new tires as part of the purchase. Scotty ( new manager) told me that they NEVER put new tires on used vehicles. That they use previously owned/ used tire. I told him in front of the sales person who sold my the truck what was told to me at the time of purchase. Sales person said that he has no control over what Nissan does. I asked Scotty "why do they put their customers in vehicles with tires that are road safe". That's when he walked away to the service area and when he came back he said that he would replace the 2 tires that were really bad. If I want the other 2 replaced I would have to pay for them myself. He walked away. I guess he was done speaking to me. All of the sudden I only needed 2 tires replaced not 4, to pass inspection. I did buy the 2 other tires. It was late and I had decided that I'm not buying any more vehicles...
Read moreWhere do I beginâŚ.my husband and I went in looking for a second vehicle. We needed a certain price range and wanted to look at a used Rogue. Everything seemed fine on the test drive and after some back and forth on payments we finally decided on one and signed the papers. It was closing time so I took it back the next day for a detail and also had them check a noise that was coming from the steering column. I was told it was normal wear and tear which sounded off to me but I went on. A few days later it got worse so I called service and scheduled them to look into it. I forget what it was they had to grease but it took care of the noise. A week later the breaks start squealing. I let the salesman know but didnât get a response other than he assumed they were checked during inspection. Fast forward to last week before the ice storm I call to speak to the sales manager Melina and explained everything and she got it scheduled to take a look at. After an hour or so plus test driving a new one they tell us the breaks and tires were good but they were still looking into things. She comes back and tells us the lower control arms had to be replaced and they took care of it so that would take care of the squealing. We were there about 6 hrs! Also the detail jobâŚsmh my 8 yr old would have done better. Forks and paperwork from the 2 previous owners left in the glove box and dirt still caked in the leather skirt around the gear shift. I am still having problems including squealing from the brakes, another noise now that sounds like struts or suspension issues, my dual climate heat was blowing hot at 73 and cold at 88 plus the heated steering function came on by itself. I have spoken to Melina again on Monday and not one mention of trying to get this stuff fixed. Had this car had a proper inspection before it was put on the lot then this issues would have been found. And of course we are outside the return window so weâre now stuck with a car we are 1000 % not happy with. Maybe I should take a friends advice and talk to an attorney. In their shop twice within a month and itâs still not fixedâŚsmh. I wonât buy again from Greenville Nissan. I had higher hopes đ¤ And let me add that we were offered the option to trade out of it but their trade offer was almost 2800 less than what we paid last month! And were told we would have to go new. I feel like they should have made it right and gotten us into something more in our price range even if it meant used. All around a very bad experience for me and my husband now has a bad taste for Nissan. Do...
