Read moreMy first Lego Store experience! Makes you want to collect & build so much! First off, YES, they have just a regular box of legos! They have crammed a LOT of lego sets into this space! Staff were friendly, excited & happy to be there. Features: a younger child's larger Duplo bricks building table to play with, build table for regular legos (my only complaint is this station is super small, suggest expanding it), build your own figures station (3 figures for $10 (Dec2018) but you can still build just for fun for free), a wall of loose legos to choose from & fill a supplied container for a cost (depends on container size), a tv with a camera that you hold the front of a box of legos up to & it shows Lego characters running/acting across your box on the screen, display show cases behind glass of larger car vehicles, various built sets, and even the huge Star Wars Millennium Falcon! Shelving space has been noticeably designed to maximize display space very effectively so theres not much gap around lego kits so as said a lot to entertain the eye! Even the ceiling lights mimic the bottom of a building brick. Good spot to entertain the kids (young & old alike) for awhile just by browsing and/or building. Will definitely be back to explore. Located on 1rst floor of Haywood Mall, just below food court,...
Read moreEdit Changed to 5 stars, due to Managements Commitment to work with the AFOL Community, and Great Service based off of local needs.
NOTE: below is outdated but leaving for record.
While being a new store, I had high hopes that when we got a store in Greenville it was going to be "everything is awesome." Lego has made a strong belief in supporting the AFOL community with changes in direction, new themes, and pick a brick. The last is the issue I have with this store. Unlike other store that are extremely AFOL friendly with their pick a brick walls, offering to display and support buying of pieces through different means such as providing access to parts not on the wall, this store does not do that. They have taken a stance that if a piece isn’t on wall, it is not available. This is sad that the management is not supporting the valuable AFOL customers. I recommend if you’re an AFOL to take your business online, or one of the neighboring stores in Atl, Concord, or Charlotte. They are much more AFOL friendly. With companies using customer service as a large basis for success this store is failing. I am currently leaving a 1 star review and voting with my dollars at other stores till this changes. I hope you...
