It's DadIt's Dad
Ladies and gentlemen, grab your knee socks, cargo shirts, and snappy button down and get ready for a wild ride as we delve into the world of bricks and building at the LEGO Workshop inside Haywood Mall in Greenville, South Carolina! This place is a DIY dream come true, and it's time to crank up your inner dad and let our creative juices flow! Let me tell you, folks, this place is a paradise for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a vibrant and colorful atmosphere that screams "FUN!" From the walls adorned with LEGO masterpieces to the shelves stacked with every LEGO set imaginable, it's a feast for the eyes. What really sets this workshop apart is the hands-on experience it offers. They've got stations set up where you can unleash your inner builder and construct your own LEGO creations. And let me tell you, it's like having a whole aisle of power tools at your disposal. You've got bricks in every shape and size, wheels, gears, and even those little propeller thingies. It's a DIY enthusiast's paradise! The workshop also offers a variety of guided activities and challenges that will put your LEGO skills to the test. Whether it's building a towering skyscraper or constructing a speedy racecar, they've got you covered. And the best part? They've got expert staff members who are always there to lend a helping hand and share some pro tips. It's like having your own personal assistant for all your LEGO needs! But wait, there's more! The LEGO Workshop also hosts special events and workshops that cater to different themes and interests. From Star Wars to Harry Potter, there's always something exciting happening here. And let me tell you, folks, these events are packed with energy and enthusiasm. It's a chance to meet fellow LEGO enthusiasts, showcase your masterpieces, and maybe even learn a thing or two from the pros. Now, before we wrap up this review, let's take a moment to appreciate the attention to detail and organization at the LEGO Workshop. Everything is neatly labeled and sorted, making it easy to find what you need. And the staff members, oh boy, they're like the Binford 6100 of customer service. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to lend a hand. In conclusion, folks, the LEGO Workshop inside Haywood Mall is a DIY haven for LEGO lovers of all ages. It's a place where you can unleash your creativity, challenge your building skills, and connect with like-minded enthusiasts. So, grab your ankle socks and head on over for a brick-tastic experience that will leave you feeling inspired and ready to tackle any building project that comes your way!

My first Lego Store experience! Makes you want to collect & build so much! First off, YES, they have just a regular box of legos! They have crammed a LOT of lego sets into this space! Staff were friendly, excited & happy to be there. Features: a younger child's larger Duplo bricks building table to play with, build table for regular legos (my only complaint is this station is super small, suggest expanding it), build your own figures station (3 figures for $10 (Dec2018) but you can still build just for fun for free), a wall of loose legos to choose from & fill a supplied container for a cost (depends on container size), a tv with a camera that you hold the front of a box of legos up to & it shows Lego characters running/acting across your box on the screen, display show cases behind glass of larger car vehicles, various built sets, and even the huge Star Wars Millennium Falcon! Shelving space has been noticeably designed to maximize display space very effectively so theres not much gap around lego kits so as said a lot to entertain the eye! Even the ceiling lights mimic the bottom of a building brick. Good spot to entertain the kids (young & old alike) for awhile just by browsing and/or building. Will definitely be back to explore. Located on 1rst floor of Haywood Mall, just below food court, down from Apple.

Who doesn't love Legos? Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of selection. They have a wall in the back of specialty pieces and you can fill a cup with whichever you need for a flat rate. They change out the selected pieces on display but not sure how often. In addition to that it was a super fun game that the front window display has a hand scanner that shows you which lego person you would be. (My kids loved it!) And there is a station in the center of the store to build your own custom lego people.

Edit Changed to 5 stars, due to Managements Commitment to work with the AFOL Community, and Great Service based off of local needs.

NOTE: below is outdated but leaving for record.

While being a new store, I had high hopes that when we got a store in Greenville it was going to be "everything is awesome." Lego has made a strong belief in supporting the AFOL community with changes in direction, new themes, and pick a brick. The last is the issue I have with this store. Unlike other store that are extremely AFOL friendly with their pick a brick walls, offering to display and support buying of pieces through different means such as providing access to parts not on the wall, this store does not do that. They have taken a stance that if a piece isn’t on wall, it is not available. This is sad that the management is not supporting the valuable AFOL customers. I recommend if you’re an AFOL to take your business online, or one of the neighboring stores in Atl, Concord, or Charlotte. They are much more AFOL friendly. With companies using customer service as a large basis for success this store is failing. I am currently leaving a 1 star review and voting with my dollars at other stores till this changes. I hope you...
