Posting on here from an anonymous account because I’d like to shop there again but trying to sell clothes was an awful experience. Just moved here recently and had a ton of clothes so I brought them here to sell. I have items I had not even worn before and I had a couple I had worn once with name brand logos. None of all the items I had brought with me were sold. I had a brand new Nike sweatshirt sitting at the top of one of the boxes I brought in. The boxes looked like they weren’t even gone through.
The lady told me that my stuff was out of date and not something they wanted to buy for the upcoming season. Over half of those clothes were fit for the fall/winter months…. Also we were in there for over 40min waiting and apparently they just put your name on a white board when they are done. This was not told to us when we were giving them our boxes/info. They said that they had finished “a while ago” when we went up to get our stuff. I’m just confused how they went through 4 full boxes of clothes in that time(not too mention that my boyfriend kept consistently looking over to see that our boxes were just shoved into a corner for most of the time we were shopping around).
I’m over all extremely disappointed with the customer service here. I probably will be coming back for the great prices on some of the clothes but overall a waste of time and a...
Read moreIve been going to simply chic since they opened in greenwood a couple years back until the manager of greenwood ruined my experience this week. I dropped off 2 totes she complained immediately they were too large then started to make me feel bad about dropping them off because they are short staffed. The clothes were not completed by the time we left the store. Next thing I know, I had an emergency colon issue and had to stay at the hospital for 5 days(thank god everything checked out just fine). But it was scary. I communicated with the staff and manager (short blonde hair). She was mad and unprofessional bc I had a medical emergency and couldn’t pick up the clothes for 5 days even though I communicated everything in a hospital bed with the staff. The day after getting released I go in there to pick up the stuff the manager made me wait while holding my 9 month old and knowing I was just released from the hospital, she didn’t say I hope you’re ok doing okay she was just rude and mad for having a job. Instead, she refused to take any of my stuff when they always take my stuff. I had brand name stuff. Stay away from this place because this is no way to treat anyone let alone a manager that is hired to do a job. Mam we can clearly know there’s a staff shortness globally so the least you can do is act like you like your job. I’m telling you stay...
Read moreI usually sell at this location and plainfield. I live in southern indiana so either location is 40+ minutes from me. Today at the Greenwood location, I brought in my clothes in trash bags with the simply chic stickers on them (from my last sell) and the woman at the cashier desk told me that they do not take the clothes in trash bags. There was another woman at the store that I know for a fact I’ve sold with (in trash bags) and she didn’t say a word. Not trying to argue with her but the trash bags I had my clothes in I had reused from my last sell at simply chic (which they accepted them). I was never made aware of this policy at either the plainfield or Greenwood location and I’ve sold multiple times at both. Not a huge deal, luckily I had aldis bags in my car. But had I not, I would’ve had to find a different way to pack my clothes after driving 40+ minutes. After I went back to my car to pack my clothes in my aldis bags I brought them back in. I told the lady that I was sorry I didn’t realize the policy and in the past they accepted them in trash bags. The lady said this has never been a new policy and that the staff probably made an exception for me. Not a huge deal again but please in the future make sure all staff and locations are on the same page and consistent if you are going to enforce...
