Extremely disappointed in my experience with Qdoba catering and at this point I would never recommend ordering catering from Qdoba (in general but especially this location) again. All the places who offered Mexican catering went on a price per person basis so the only real difference was what was included for the price. I ordered catering for 20 adults and chose the chicken and steak combo, rice, beans, chips, 4 different Salas, guac, and typical taco toppings were included. I purchased some extra tortillas as well. At $256 (after tax) it was a little higher per person than some other places I looked into but it included extras other charge for and I was getting both chicken and steak so I figured it was worth it. Boy, was I wrong. My husband picked up the order for me since it was on his way home from work. As he brings in the food and I am setting up, I realize I am missing things. No stearnos (warmers) for the food and I can't find any chips or the tortillas. We have our guests already waiting to eat so I go ahead and start to open the trays of food, which are smaller than expected. Pictures shown online and from previous catering experience, I expected lasagna size pans of rice, beans, chicken and steak. They sent 4 aluminum trays that were maybe half of a typical lasagna pan and not any deeper. When I open the trays labeled steak and chicken, they are not anywhere close to being full (especially the steak). They looked pitiful (I will attach pictures to my review). The trays of food they provided didn't even fill up the wire pans they sent, the pans could hold 6 total trays of food, 3 per stearno warmer. I was so embarrassed, it's a host worst nightmare, not enough food for the guests. This was also our first party in our new home so sad it didn't go as expected. Thankfully I had made a salad and queso and had store bought tortillas and chips on hand since I make my own Mexican on a regular basis. We were way too far from any store and the restaurant to remedy the situation if I hadn't had those things. It still didn't solve the problem of too little meat and people feeling uncomfortable filling plates knowing that was all we had. We have catered parties before so I knew what to expect and I didn't receive $250 worth of food, not even close. That's the most upsetting part the cost of what I received. Those 1/3 pans were a joke. I mean rice and beans are cheap and we even received just one little pan of each of those. Even if those meat pans had been filled to the brim, I still think it would not be worth the money. You can go down the street to Chick fil a purchase 2 large nugget tray orders and get 4 large lasagna pans of nuggets filled to the top for$200 plus tax and that can feed upwards to 40 people. I spent more than that for 20 people and I didn't even get one full tray of meat. That's ridiculous. If that is truly what I was supposed to receive then that's a scam. (Online shows larger pans of meat by the way... don't know how many people you have to have for that size but apparently it is more than 20). 2 other remaining issues that should be noted. I called immediately to inform the restaurant that I didn't get what I received. Spoke to a very nice lady who was apologetic and confirmed that I didn't get what I should have received, including meat. She was going to try to get more food to us but said she didn't know if she could, offered some other options as well and left it as "we'll make it right" and the restaurant would be in touch. As of Monday evening, no phone call or word from management to resolve the issue. I waited through the weekend to write this review to give the store the opportunity to make things right. Although with the party over and not enough food, it's hard to remedy that at this point. Lastly, we paid more than $250 because my husband added a tip. We are generous people but the tip came at the instance of the person working the register that the "cook would really appreciate it". Just adds to the frustration of what we paid v....

I love Qdoba. Better than any other places in this type/style of eating. Always fresh, always on point, always great quality and quantity for the price. Until now. I went Friday evening and there was a long line. Well worth the wait, so I stepped into line. ONE young lady, long dark hair pulled back was on it! She was polite and efficient. I can appreciate her skills, as my issues had nothing to do with the service I received from her. The issue was they were out of a lot of items. Pico, black beans, taco shells, olives, they ran out of chicken..granted some was being made. Its amazing how missing a few key items can make or break a dish. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes, to be informed they were out of items...I decided to order anyways. My food was sadly lacking. I got the last of the chicken which was dry and I didn't realize until I got home, not much there.
I ordered nachos and a taco salad. Everything would have been just ok...but the lack luster guy at the register just didn't seem thrilled. I mean I get it..busy, fast paced, people coming for deliveries, a line, your out of stuff, etc...but when I let him know I needed chips to go with the taco salad since there were no shells, he gave me a cookie bag(?) small and white with a scoop in it. I had to ask for more even though I ordered nachos as well. He grumbled under his breath and when I asked he said he was getting them for me. I still only got about a half a bag of chips for two meals.
The food was just ok for this visit. I will go back in the future I am sure, but it...
Read moreThis is the only post after multiple bad experiences at this location. The hours state this location closes at 10 pm. I was there at 8:50pm and alI items had already been either completely gone or small amounts of what was left over placed in small plastic bags on the counter. All the chairs were up on tables with no exceptions. I asked for a protein bowl. The person who was taking my order was extremely displeased which showed in his demeanor and face. I was informed they were out of black beans and lettuce. I asked for pickled onions and sourcream and was told they were out. When I got to the register, I couldn’t help but ask if I was mistaken or if they closed at 10 pm. I questioned why their food choices looked like they were already closed right now and my protein bowl looked half empty. I was told that there was a rush and they ran out, some workers tend to overfill bowls so that’s why I wasn’t used to seeing it the way they were giving it to me, all restaurants do that (put items away early). The manager who wouldn’t even come out from hiding behind the partition wall in the kitchen wouldn’t give a discount or attempt to make it right in any way ( a heartfelt sorry , or explanation, or a complimentary drink or chips would have sufficed) because several items were missing from my dish. The attitude and service were terrible. Never coming back and recommend to stay away. Took my money to Chick-fil-A right after that where I got a hot meal and a smile of the girls who took and delivered exactly what I ordered to me, while they they also...
