Village Commons — Local services in Greenwood

A little pricey compared to their main competitor, but lately their customer service has been far better. I've had multiple Lowe's locations tell me they don't have anyone who can cut boards in lumber, which, if you're like me and don't own a pickup, means I can't buy ANY lumber since 4x8 won't fit in a car. How a hardware store that devotes so much space to lumber can't keep anyone trained on the saw is beyond me.

The employees here seem to be a lot more knowledgeable as well, and can much more quickly locate items in the store and have been much more willing to walk me to the item instead of just giving me vague directions and hand gestures.

Came to the Home Depot store here because we were looking for a riding lawn mower, the Greenfield store didn't have what we were looking for, glad we came here, save just over a grand by purchasing a Refurbished one that only had 12.3 hours on it, it's tires had never touched the grass, spoke with the person who actually did the repair on it and said was a minor electrical issue. Works like new and it is new but purchased a $2,299.00 garden tractor for $1,299.00!!! Wow we're are very happy as everyone who helped us at this store were extremely helpful and nice. Thank you...
