I am not usually one to make reviews but I cannot let this go without saying somethingâŚ
I wanted so badly to have a great experience here but unfortunately was very disappointed. When I entered the store I was not welcomed or greeted by anyone. I proceeded to shop and found so many cute items from clothes to antiques.
I had seen earlier in the day that they posted they were closing at 3pm, so I went at 2 to make sure I had enough time to browse. There was also a sign outside the store that stated 3pm was the closing time for the day.
My mom came to meet me and look along with me. After about 30 minutes of shopping, my mom got to the store and informed me that the girl at the front told her rudely that they were closing (it was currently 2:30). Since the sign outside stated 3, we continued to shop and planned to head up front to check out around 2:50 since they were closing at 3.
At 2:40 all the lights were turned off in the store, no one came up and informed us that the closing time had changed and no announcement was made. Since the lights had been turned out on us, I took my stuff to check out. The girl checking me out maybe spoke 5 words to me.
I was looking forward to shopping here and would have loved to continue looking. I had only gotten half way through the store and could have easily spent more money had I not been cut off.
I worked at a small business here in Greenwood for over three years and make it a point to support local businesses as they are a very important part of our community.
If I were a booth owner in this store, I would be very disappointed and embarrassed. I hope this post sheds some light on the importance of customer service and prevents this from happening in the future.
I hope to have a better...
Read moreThe owners of this establishment are completely unprofessional, rude and seemingly do not care about how they treat paying customers. Itâs appalling to want to patronize a small business here in Greenwood only to be met with such anger from the owners. This âuptown marketâ is one very small step above a yard sale and they need to learn how to treat people if they want to remain in business. Watch where you park up here also, because they have a severe problem with that too. Good luck if you shop here. You may be the next customer to be met with such...
Read moreThis is a wonderful place to find most anything your heart desires. There is a man cave for vintage and some new tools. They have new and vintage furniture of all kinds, New and vintage sets of glasses, bunch of crystal table ware and dishes, new and vintage used clothes and lots of antiques. They have 2 floors and 70 vendors. Each booth is full of wonderful treasures. Sorry to go on and on but I really love it. The owner, manager, vendors and shoppers are very friendly. I never leave without buying something. Have...
