Tv went out after three years samsung 75ā 8k contacted geek squad long story short went in august 22,2024 paid $1700 upgrade for newer version of tv delivered with exchange of old tv and mount scheduled for the 25th they cancel the day before and rescheduled for the 29th cancelled again the same day and rescheduled for today which is September 9, 2024 its 9:22pm havenāt heard anything talk to tech guy and representative today and no call no show just got off the phone with representative and all she could say is sorry thanks for being a mybest total rewards customer and we cant do anything till 24hrs super bad customer support and service at this point im very disappointed and frustrated will definitely update this review after 24hrs has passedā¦ā¦..update two additional appointments were cancelled and the one that was scheduled for today 9/16/24 was again a no show with district or the local one in Gresham has no update since 9/9/24 when the employee was driving around doing whatever with MY TV in the delivery and installation vehicle so here we are at 10pm waited all day and havenāt heard anything you think i would have been top priority considering what i been through what the tech has to do literally takes 10 minutes donāt know whatās going on but something needs to give and someone should be held accountable why am I paying for a membership and service just to be completely ignored once again i will update once i...

I bought a solid state drive and had them install it. When I got it back, my machine constantly blue screen crashed. They said to bring it back. I felt they should send a tech to fix the issue so I didn't have to bring it back and be with out it for several days again. They refused. So I did take it back. When I got it back this time, same crashes and my DVD drive no longer worked after they insisted they tested it thoroughly. I eventually had someone else fix my issues for far less then their total protection plan. Today I received an email saying they were about to bill me for thr next cycle and I called to cancel and complain. I asked if there was a chance for any sort of reimbursement. Didn't ask for a full refund and explained why I felt they should refund a portion of my payment. The person I spoke to said his name was Winn and said that since my plan was about to expire I was not entitled to anything. Completely disregarded my complaints that I addressed before when I picked up my computer the second time. This place cares very little about quality of work. They do very little to anything when you bring in older laptops. Got text saying to back up data on cell phone and be prepared to give our Iphone login and passcode at appointment. When Geek Squad site says they shouldn't ask for that information. BUT doesn't let you tell them what device you have or WHAT PART YOU NEED.
Waited 4 days for appointment. Traveled 40 minutes to Best Buy Gresham appointment as that was soonest available appointment. Got there Geek Squad Tech tells us they don't have the Battery for our Iphone and he has to order it. Will take 2 weeks to receive the part and they HAVE TO KEEP MY PHONE BECAUSE APPLE REQUIRES THEM TOO. I tell him it's not Apple Care Claim I'm paying for the Battery replacement. He says he still has to keep my Iphone for 2 weeks. We left, made appointment at Apple Store for the following day. Talk to Apple Store Technician he advertised NO Apple wouldn't require Best Buy to hold Iphone if it's NOT Apple Care Claim.
