Joy Teriyaki — Restaurant in Gresham

For the quality of chicken and how much meat and rice you get, the price is WAY to exorbitant. Their chicken teriyaki meal should not be more than $8, and their chicken breast should not be more than $9.00, especially because of how much less chicken you get when you order the breast.

I already decided not to go there before the price hike due to the low quality meat prepping with their regular chicken and how dry it was with their chicken breast, but now it's just insanity. Chicken Katsu $14.50?! Beef bento $20.50?! A side of chicken $6?! Two measly scoops of rice for $2.50?! How is any of this reasonable? Seriously charging the price of a legitimate restaurant when the food is clearly a tier below that? I...

Owner is a piece of work! I had been a loyal customer for awhile until recently. Right after the snow melted, I called to ask how the parking lot was, because I didn't want to damage my car(since it is slightly lowered). First, he asked what I was talking about, I repeated SLOWLY so he could understand.. then amazing when I was half way done repeating myself, he interrupted me(not the first time this guy done that), then starts laughing sarcastically an yells "it's fine". At that point I told him what I thought about him, and said I'd take my business elsewhere. He apparently has no respect for the customer. I would suggest going to the 181st powell or Troutdale...

Owners of Joy Teriyaki should seriously reconsider their prices. It's ridiculous, considering how little food you get, and the lackluster quality of their meats/lack of prepping (a lot of stretchy stuff still on the meat). How can you charge legitimate restaurant prices when your food isn't even on that level? Chicken Katsu for $14.50?! Beef Bento for $20.50?! A side of meat $6-$7?! Two measly scoops of rice for $2.50?! A simple Teriyaki plate for $11.00?! How is any of this reasonable? You guys need to seriously get off your high-horse. Mediocre/fast food should have decent prices, not that of serious...
