I drive far out of my way to come to their store on a regular basis to buy pressed corn beef because not many stores sell it. Well I recently purchased a pound for 9.99$ and when I got home I had about a half inch thick piece of complete fat. It was so gross. It was completely white!!! The rest of the pound was ok but they definitely should not have sold me that last piece of fat. Especially at 9.99 a pound. That piece of fat alone was 2.60. That's what they refunded me after argued with the owner. He kept telling me "That's all I had left" ...that doesn't mean you sell the bottom of the can to a customer!!! It was a 2.50$ piece of FAT!!! That should have been thrown in the garbage and they should have sold me a half pound instead!! The attitude he gave me when I was polite was unacceptable!! He was trying to stiff me with bad meat because he didn't want to lose out on $$$. That's not how you treat loyal customers!!! A simple appology with a refund would have been nice.
