I had high hopes for this store and have been meaning to pop in for quite some time. I walked in to an empty store on a weekday afternoon with one person checking out, and 4 ladies working. They were being super friendly and talkative to the young girl checking out, great! I continued browsing waiting for someone to acknowledge me so I could ask for advice about an outfit for an upcoming event I’m attending - 15 minutes go by and not once did they greet me, ask if I needed any help, ask if I needed a fitting room (I probably had 10 pieces of clothing in my arms). As soon as I get a fitting room, I’m trying on clothes and someone else comes in, I can hear them greet her. When she started trying her stuff on, they were asking her if she needed anything, and offering advice of cute pieces they thought would work for her, never once asking me. They didn’t say a single thing to me the 30 minutes I was there. I was dressed in my Wednesday afternoon, mom uniform of athletic clothing, so I assume it was because I didn’t look the part. I came in on a Saturday browsing a bit as I was in town to help with a new grandbaby. The clothes looked cute and were average priced. The one person working greeted me but didn’t seem interested in helping, even when I started trying on jeans. When another employee arrived, they started chatting about their kid’s job interfering with their party life, and I felt like I shouldn’t be there, but was trying to find my size in some jeans I liked. There was only one other person shopping at the time. The employee (owner, associate?) said she didn’t have the jeans in my size and couldn’t order them and didn’t show me any other options.
