The facility Is clean and comfortable. Several TV screens so people can see what’s on. From my dining companions I was told the salad bar and soup bar was very nice. My problem with the service was When inquiring about food that I could have for a dairy allergy, the server did not want to check in the kitchen to see if there were any reasonable substitutes or alternatives with the fish tacos. I ordered grilled the server first brought out fried. And the grilled was a total disappointment because if I wanted unseasoned fish on a flour tortilla, I could have done that at home. Dining companions were not thrilled with their meals. One has eaten there before and felt they’ve done better in the past. I’m not sure if it was our server or if the communication with the kitchen wasn’t great. It just was not the best experience I’ve had. Honestly, I’m not sure if I would return although I really do like the location. One of my dining companions had the fried perch. He was disappointed because it contained a lot of bones. My dining companions really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. It looked fantastic. The pita bread served with it seemed fresh. I would not recommend that Ahi tuna app- it came out originally without the sauce, the flavor of the slaw it’s served over Is just not really an appetizing appetizer. The Brussels sprout appetizer was not available so we did not get to try it. Steamed potstickers were fine. The Side salad was very fresh. The Moscow Mule was fairly average.

We arrived at lunch time and there were tables available, but they were reaching capacity. We were only at our table for approximately 3 minutes before the wit staff acknowledged us and ask for our drink orders. Shortly after that our waitress came to the table and she was very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable in reference to the capacity of the kitchen and the menu. Once we ordered it was roughly 12 minutes before the food arrived to the table. I tried a new item on their menu which was their black and blue chicken wrap. The bread has almost a sweetness to it. It is a perfect texture and thickness for being a wrap. The lettuce was perfectly crisp and green, and the tomato was sliced to 1/8 of an inch perfectly ripened and plentiful within the wrap. The chicken was grilled, very tender and had a nice flavor to it. The blue cheese was throughout the entire wrap and had just the right flavoring to off set the bacon and the chicken. There was not too much mayonnaise, which was a pleasant surprise. Only a small amount and it added a hint of flavor. However, it was incredibly salty. I'm not sure if this was an accidental over salting, but I was unable to eat the wrap because it was so very salty. It tasted as if someone had taken the top off of a salt shaker and just poured salt into it. I picked out individual things, scraped off seasoning and then ate the tomato, the lettuce and chicken separately.

My first time at the Village Grill and thought that the food was okay. Admittedly, I was there with a large party and dinner was served buffet-style. The salad was good, and so was the mostaccioli in meat sauce. The pizza was a little hit or miss. Same with the cheesy breadsticks. Some were excellent while others were lacking in the cheese department. Considering we were in a party of at least 60 people, the service was excellent although the bar service was a little slow. I am certain that the village grill is encumbered with staffing deficits. Given that, all the people who were working there were doing an excellent job! I will go back again, this time it'll be just my wife and i. There were many menu items that piqued my interest and I want to try. Primarily they had chicken marsala and chicken piccata, both of which I want to try!

Visited on 8/28, 8:45 pm. Do not go here unless you do not mind diarrhea the next day. Literally. Ordered the lemon cod. Not an ounce of lemon flavor in the sauce. The red skin potatoes and green beans were best part of meal. The waitress kept referring to me as "Hon." Maybe that works for the Baby Boomer crowd, but I found it unprofessional. I felt like waitress was rushing me through my meal. I barely had time to finish my salad from the salad bar when she brought my first course. Had enough time to finish the first course. Then the cod arrived. The caprese salad had some strange brown sauce dribbled on it. The tomatoes were not ripe, but were okay. Nothing to write home about. I rushed through the caprese salad because I thought my entree would be brought in a hurry. Could not really enjoy salad. The waitress brought me the check before I was halfway through my entree. Back in the "old" days, a waitress would wait until you had finished the entree. Then, she would ask you if you wanted dessert or coffee. Not this gal. She wanted me out. I paid cash and the waitress did not have 72 cents in change. I left her a tip that was less than 15%. And that was being generous. Maybe the fish was undercooked, maybe the salad bar was contaminated, who knows. I had diarrhea the next day and incredibly bad cramping throughout the evening after eating here. Will...
