So the managers herself was super friendly and nice. I had a great time shopping here and the people were friendly. The only thing I really didnât like was the customer service area. There was a young girl there who has cuts on her hands fumble and get a bag when I came in with a pair of shoes to return for my husband. she gave me the hardest time and made my husband feel bad about the shoes. (We only had them for about 2 weeks) We felt like she was implying that my husband was dirty or something. Because she started asking her coworkers for a bag, and then tried to pick up the shoes like she was picking up dog poo for the first time, struggled a little and then ultimately failed. I told her my husband and I arenât contiguous, sick and dirty people. The shoes were not used in excess so if youâd like/ makes your comfortable I can put them in the bag for you. Even that she didnât want us to touch the bag. Now Excuse me, my husband is a married man, and fully capable of taking care of him self but because he takes great care of us, his family, I take good care of him. So this man has some of the cleanest clothes, diet, etc. so I was offended. Anyways, customer service is a no go, everywhere else in the store is...
Read moreKohl's customer service has been going downhill for years. We bought two items in the Rocky Hill store, which is an hour from our house. The cashier mistakenly rang up one item twice and didn't ring up the second item. They were similarly priced and nobody noticed. A few days later, we decided to return both items and brought them to the Groton store. It took a few minutes to figure out why the system was not allowing us to return the item that wasn't originally scanned. When the manager was called over to help resolve the issue, she told us that we would have to go to the Rocky Hill store to get it sorted out. So now we have to drive 2+ hours and spend about $12 in gas to get back our $20. I had seen Kohl's bend over backwards in the past to resolve a customer's mistake. Now we have to bend over backwards to resolve a Kohl's mistake.
Add this to the fact that they don't treat their Kohl's cash like cash due to how they apply discounts and the fact that the coupons are only applicable to their low quality store brands, with few exceptions, makes it easy to stop shopping there. I'm done...
Read moreI truly love Kohls! A couple of weeks ago my husband remarked that his dress shoes, for work, were getting worn out and he would need new ones soon. I picked up my phone and opened my Kohl's app. They always seem to know what I need; shoes were on sale. My husband was able to find both black and brown shoes in his size and they both were on sale. I have wanted a pair of Converse sneakers for a while now and I was able to find them in my size, in the color I wanted. Three pair of shoes for $138 AND $20 in Kohl's cash, on top of the 20% off I received by using my Kohls charge card. Oh happy day. Today I ordered and picked up two extra large, fluffy blankets. One baby Yoda and one Minnie Mouse. They will be donated to our local food bank to give as presents towards Christmas. Thanks to the Kohl's cash the two blankets cost me under $5, and I saved $50. You really can't beat that with a stick! Two children will be much warmer next winter....
