The Boom-a-Rang — Local services in Gunnison

I had been consigning stuff here, but was always a little suspicious that they didn't always keep the best track of consignor sales. Sure enough, when I went to check my account recently, they said I hadn't dropped off in over a year, according to their account book. This is entirely untrue and the owner even confirmed that they had recently accepted several things that I had dropped off. She basically said that the new girl sometimes didn't do things correctly and suggested that I look through the store for my items to make sure they had my account number (and not someone else's) on them. This is a pretty rediculous suggestion as the store is huge and the racks are packed like sardines. So basically, another consignar OR the owner will most likely be pocketing my portion of the money made off of my items. I will not be taking my stuff...

What a find!!! My 2 girlfriends and I had a blast in this store, we spent 2 - 3 hours there, there was so much to see, each of us spent about $100 dollars that would have cost us at least $400 in a regular retail store. We found brand names, huge selection, mostly in excellent condition and very well organized. The prices are a little more than a thrift store, but less than the consignment shops I usually go to in bigger cities. Can''t believe this store is in Gunnison, it is a must see there is something for everyone. They have furniture too that looked very cool, we didn't have time to see that side of the store, but it looked like stuff I would love...

This is a used furniture, knick-knack, clothing place that takes consignments for people and sells them. There are often surprise treasures to be found and things that makes you wonder what people are thinking when they bought it. Staff are generally helpful.

It is the place to look for costumes and retro clothing for fancy dress parties or just making a statement. I often drop in just to browse and see if anything catches my eye.

This place is more than a rummage sale, but can be a good place if you need a table or bed and not pay new...
