MTN Lodge Gunnison — Hotel in Gunnison

Made the reservation for the same day we were traveling through. Did not know that the office was not open until we pulled up to check in.the office door has a sign telling you what website to go to to make a reservation and provided a phone number if you needed help. All you could see inside the office was empty boxes piled up. Called the phone number provide, a male answered and I asked if this was the number for MTN Lodge. He hung up on me. Checked number and confirmed it was the one listed and called back three times. These all went straight to voicemail. Approximately 10 minutes later I get a text with my room number and the code to access the room. Room was nice and clean. I would never have booked a room for this price had I known that it was not a staffed location. Overall we were not happy with the stay because the lack of staffing/customer service left us feeling guarded. Thankfully we only stayed one night and will not be back...

I and a group of eight people stayed at The ABC for a total of eight days. Experience was great the owners are excellent and very friendly people. The establishment is cleaned daily and I mean cleaned. It is very well located for many different activities. Close to Crested Butte also in very close vicinity is Western College and many many excellent restaurants..... Very close for outdoor activities atv, utv, 4x4, walking, hiking, horse trails and more. also many great fishing places within minutes. Gold and silver mining towns right up the road. There is so much to do close to this Motel it is in the middle if everything going on. Excellent stay area for hunter it is located directly in the middle of GMU 66,67,54 Excellent areas... Insanely rude! Answered the phone yelling at me. when I asked about a reservation she yelled and told me they didn’t have have one for me. I never told them a name or a confirmation number. Was yelling at me about them not allowing pets even though I never asked her about their pet policy. Yelled at me for making a reservation on Expedia, even though I didn’t the reservation was made through their website. The lady never asked for the name on the reservation and had no idea who I was but was yelling at me like she knew who I was. I get it working with the public is testing and you have bad days, but this was way over bored. She hung up on me before I ever even got to tell her my confirmation number or name. By the way this call started at 10:37...
