Air Force Reserve Recruiting Office, North N.J. — Local services in Hackensack

I can't say enough about my experience at this recruiting center. I enlisted in the Marine Corp when I was was younger but I was discharged for a medical while in recruit training. Since then I have tried numerous times to reenlist, and with all the different armed forces, including active, reserves, and guard (in other states too) but I was told because of my DD214 (discharge paperwork) that I wasn't eligible your reenlistment or was told they would get back to me but never did. I decided to give it one last shot and went to the Air Force Reserve recruiting office on 121 Main Street, Hackensack NJ. There I meet the recruiter MSgt Beadling, and discussed if I have any chance of enlisting and if so, what my options were. From the start MSgt Beadling was honest about my chances of being able to enlist (50/50) but he' would really try. After going through all the hoops and ladders of MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) I was finally given a waiver for a physical, which I passed with flying colors. He then went over the jobs I was eligible for and actually got the job I wanted at McGuire AFB. I am so grateful that I am able to serve once again, and that I will be able to finish what I had started. I'm especially thankful to MSgt Beadling for giving me a shot and putting the time and effort to make this happen ( I know I must have been much more paperwork and time than other recruits due to my DD214). MSgt Beadling is an amazing recruiter. He made the entire process quick and easy. I believe it was less than a month from the time I first stepped into the office, to the time I had my job. I feel like one of the biggest things people fear about joining the military, is being misinformed. MSgt Beadling always had the answer to my question.
